I used these last year. Getting them out earlier this year so will use twice since they last about 90 days. Last year was a very wet year, with the bottoms behind our house often flooded. We could sit on the deck and garden till dark with no problem.

No noticable effect

I installed two on my property according to directions three weeks ago and I detect no appreciable difference in the mosquito population. Then I read a review that describes why there is no scientific basis for these to work: https://colinpurrington.com/2019/08/spartan-mosquito-eradicator/ I would recommend saving your money.

According to the manufacturer, the Spartan Mosquito Eradicator should initially be filled with warm water and then placed to hang on a tree or shrub. It is suggested to check the water level in the Eradicator weekly as rain or really dry climates can affect the water present. The Eradicator lasts for 90 days and during that time it can be refilled if it is necessary. A new Eradicator should be used every 90 days.

Hi, we tried your tubes last summer to great result! Just wondering if the chemical used is safe for birds that eat mosquitoes?
The small amount of active a mosquito ingests from the Spartan Mosquito Eradicator will not harm birds if they were to then eat those mosquitoes.

The Spartan Mosquito Eradicator does not contain a fungicide, but rather a proprietary ingredient that when mixed with warm water draws mosquitoes in and inhibits them from breeding and kills them.
Looking for something to take when we go to the lake. The flies are so bad when we take out any food.
