Suspend Polyzone is considered a repellent.
Suspend Polyzone when mixed with water is only strong enough to kill small insects, like ants. Your dog would have to eat a truckload of grass most likely to get sick, and he/she would probably get much more sick from the grass then the Polyzone. However, of course we recommend anything you can do to minimize your dog from eating the grass. Pets should be out of the area during treatment until the area is dry as well.
Yes, Suspend Polyzone can be used for mosquitoes in a backpack sprayer. The mixing ratio is 0.75 fl. oz. per gallon of water. This product can be broadcast across your lawn, sprayed on bushes, trees, flowers, and other places where the mosquitoes would be. Suspend Polyzone is not labeled for edibles. Once the product is dry, the residual is approximately 90 days outdoors. Rain and/or irrigation does not affect the product once it has dried.
The biggest difference between Demand CS and Suspend Polyzone is the residual they have outdoors. Suspend Polyzone was designed with special time release polymer coating to hold up in heat, cold, and irrigation for up to 90 days. Demand CS will last approx 30 days.
The treatment for Scorpions using either product is the same:
Treat areas where scorpions may hide. Treat known or suspected harborages on and around exterior walls. Apply spot treatments into cracks, crevices, weep holes or other access points into hollow block walls or masonry veneer. Spray around and beneath stones and along rocky areas. Scorpions will often harbor beneath the bark on trees, so inspect these areas and treat as required. When possible, remove piles of debris and building materials near the exterior wall that can harbor the pests. Apply a perimeter treatment to the exterior walls spraying 2-3ft up the foundation and 2-3ft out on the adjacent soil. You may treat around piles of firewood, but do not treat firewood with this product.

You can apply Suspend Polyzone using a hand pump sprayer, backpack sprayer or hose end sprayer, not a sprayer bottle.
Yes The Suspend Polyzone is safe once it dries and can be used indoors as well as outdoors. Suspend Polyzone has been tested and will last for 90 days indoors and outdoors. Suspend Polyzone has a unique poly coating over the particles of the product which protects it from weathering and makes the residual last longer. Suspend Polyzone was also designed to stay up on the surface of even very porous areas such as concrete or wood which makes the product more available to insects.
