Reinfestation can occur because flea eggs are protected from the insecticide application. Using an insect growth regulator will help break the cycle of reinfestation. It is crucial to vacuum prior to the application and daily after the application has been made. Please read our Roach guide so you can make an informed decision about your roach control program. Usually just picking one product will not be adequate. Talstar P alone is not a contact kill, those sprayed directly will die faster than those that contact a treated area once dry but it will still take time to kill and you can still see insects in the area. We apologize results were not as expected. Talstar is considered a repellent because insects can detect it. This does not mean they are truly repelled from the area they can just choose to avoid it as they know something is there. They must contact the treated area to be effected by the product though and it does take time for them to die after contact, a few hours up to 24 or more so you will still see insects in the area.
