Taurus SC is a bomb in a bottle. Ive messed around with Raid Bait Stations for years trying to get a handle on an invasion of odoriferous ants, the little bastards that stink the place up if you disturb their business in any way. The Bait Stations never did do much, even tho they can decrease the ant action somewhat for maybe days or weeks. So I decided to go nuclear and ordered a bottle of Taurus on line. Neither Lowes or the Depot carry this stuff, probably because of the scary label on the bottle. You do not want to make a mistake with this stuff lest you end up in the emergency room, on with the poison hot line or worse. To demonstrate the potency of Taurus, you use 3/10s of one ounce with a gallon of water. Long story short I suited up with a makeshift Hazmat suit and started spraying. It took about an hour to go all the way around the house using 1 gallon of water. The next day we noticed the ant invasion was scaled way back, with only the pioneer types still in operation. The 2nd day all ants were gone. We could scarcely believe it. My only complaint would be the size of the bottle I was required to buy, 20 ounces for $40. California laws prohibit application more than twice a year. This means I have enuf Taurus for 33 years. But otherwise, this is a great product.

We have had carpenter ants around since we moved in about 20 years ago. We live in a very wooded area and we do like having all of the wildlife around as well as the trees. But there issues that come with living in the hills and one of those are the carpenter ants. We have found them inside many times but have yet to ever find any damage from them. I have found nests at the bottoms of trees (white oaks especially) and they were constant visitors all around the house and specifically the deck. I sprayed the Taurus SC Termiticide and I could count on one hand how many ants I have seen around the house since. They are still in the woods where i didn't spray, but they are visibly absent from the house. I am very pleased with the result. I sprayed at 6% and will spray again in the fall at 4%. That will be my yearly plan, 4/6/4.

We have a block home that termites attacked the wood casing around an exterior door. We had three different termite companies come out and all of them recommended Termidor (Fipronyl). This product ( Taurus SC) is the generic equivalent. All three wanted to treat the entire perimeter of the house instead of just the area by the door. We have a large house so it seemed rather excessive and expensive. I trenched on 50 feet of either side of the door and installed this product along the foundation of the home. I also sprayed the entire perimeter of the house from the ground up a couple of feet and along the soffit. We had been experiencing problems with small black ants. Within two weeks the ant problem had gone away. We also found several dead roaches on our patio area as well. It is still too early to confirm the effectiveness on the termites but I have no doubt that this product will resolve that issue as well. Research proper installation and handling before using any chemical. This product is not difficult to use, works well, and is much cheaper than hiring someone else. Highly recommend.

I had ants all over my pool area. 2 corperate pets control companies quoted me $175 per app and said they couldn't guaranty the pool area. This product seemed expensive at first, but 2 gallons of the mix solved all my ant issues. I estimate I have enough product left for at least 40 more applications! Great buy!!

Extremely quick three day delivery. To early to tell if it works. It will probably be a month to see if the carpenter ants vanish. 5 stars on delivery

This is the real deal, had ants around the house, drive way, trees in the yard, one treatment and a month later nothing! You can buy all the bug spray at your local hardware stores and it won't do the job of a few ounces of this. Typically you see a cricket dead on the drive way and ants are swarming, but now I haven't seen an ant in a month. So happy I made the purchase, and telling everyone how great it is. In fact had an exterminator come by trying to sell me their service. He asked who I used and I said me. I asked that he look around the foundation and he did and said do you mind if I ask what your using and I told him and he asked that I not tell the neighbors as it would run them out of business!!!! Buy it!

Had an ant problem all around the outside perimeter of the house. They were crawling up the side of the wall into the house. Sprayed with the standard insecticides that you buy at Home Depot. Ants cake back the very next day. Purchased the Taurus SC and sprayed the perimeter of the house as instructed. .06% dilution 2 times a year. That's .08 fluid oz of Taurus SC to 1 gallon of water. Anyway, it worked amazingly. I no longer have an ant problem. It's been over a week and still no ants. Very happy with the product.

This product was recommended to me by someone who live in my area, I had a lot of ants all around the house trying to crawl into my house, this product really works, but I don't know if I'm doing the right thing but this seems to come back but it's a great great product

Tried several other ortho products. No help. One application of Termidor and my wife said did you see the side driveway? I said no? We went out and looked like a death zone. hundreds of carpenter ants all over the driveway! I just misted it lightly over a timber wall at the side of the house. Before I would see a dozen crossing the driveway as I walked on it. Now I see none. I'm now trying to eliminate the mounds I see in my lawn. GOOD STUFF! Mixer was confusing at first. But with a little care it is easy to use. I like it.

I had the worst luck with crazy ants everywhere had pest control come charging me 150 dollars for them to just come and die at my door and causing my porch to look dirty all the time till now i used this product and gonee not one ant present or cadaver near my door amazing best 40 dollars i spent.

Being a concrete foundation these insect still make a visit. I mixed this up for about 12 gallons in a pull behind sprayer. Went around my house 2 foot up and 2 foot out. Ants stopped and a for the termites just a precaution. The remainder mixture I flood ants hill. So far so good.

I had ants on the perimeter of pool deck. Tried sevin powder, Ortho, Amdro pest defense and ants returned within a few days. After using Taurus SC, ants have disappeared. No evidence of other pests have been seen. Great product!

I use this product for multiple things mostly as a pest prevention barrier and it has done wonders. I would recommend this product a hundred times over!!!

Seems to be giving faster results than stated in other reviews.Ripped open areas so contact would be more immediate to termite colony as protected by paint.Havent used drill holes yet as this is suppose to get results in a couple of months. Bora care in raw wood areas such as attic and garage seem to be a good one, two punch. Taurus in facia and shadow boards that were painted and outside, bora care inside on raw wood and safe for humans and pets.

I don't have signs of termites, I do have a lot of ants, including big black carpenter ants. I did a lot of dirt work around the foundations of my house so I wanted to retreat after I was finished. My order was received really quickly, no problems. I treated, and now I don't see any signs of ants around the foundation any more. Should do as well for termites. I'm happy with the results so far.
