Permethrin SFR 36.8% is not a contact kill for fleas or any listed insects however leaves a residual to keep working after the application has dried. Even with a contact kill insecticide, repeat treatments are required due to the life cycle of fleas. When treating for fleas, adding an insect growth regulator is definitely recommended as this helps stop the reproduction cycle of fleas. Once the dust has been worked into the carpet, vacuuming can resume the next day.
Repeat this process of spraying carpets, rugs, pet resting areas and Cimexa Dust every 14 days until fleas are eliminated.
