Temprid SC would be a great product use in combination with other products needed to effectively eliminate bed bugs. There is not a Temprid Ultra but there is a Tempo SC Ultra, the active ingredient of which is also in the Temprid. Please refer to our How To Get Rid of Bed Bugs guide for the best recommendations and treatment advice.
Temprid SC and Tekko Pro are 2 different products. Temprid SC is an insecticide that provides quick knockdown and long residual control of many different insect pests. Tekko Pro is an insect growth regulator (IGR), which does not kill anything, but stops juvenile pests from growing into adults so that they are unable to reproduce. These two products may be used together in the same tank mix to give you both actions in one spray.
No, Temprid SC is not labeled to be used on shoes or clothing.
There are not any temperature restrictions on when Temprid SC can be applied, except that you should not use insecticides when temperatures are near, at, or below freezing. The best time of day to apply is early in the day or in late afternoon. Applications also need to be done when there isn't any rain expected for 24 hrs and the winds are calm to ensure the product has had time to dry. Please follow the label instructions for details on your treatment.
Temprid SC Insecticide typically dries within 1 to 2 hours.
Once the treated area is dry after applying Temprid SC Insecticide it is safe.
The Temprid SC Insecticide mixture should be used within 24 hours of mixing and then the sprayer should be triple rinsed (including wand and nozzle).
Temprid SC Insecticide would be the better option over Suspend Polyzone as some strains of bed bugs have some resistant to the active ingredient. Sprays alone are not enough to eliminate an infestation though. We have a guide that can help explain what should be done and what other productst to use to get the most success. The Temprid SC product label states that it must be mixed and applied using at least a 1-gallon sprayer.
Although Temprid SC Insecticide technically does have termites on the label, it is not really the best choice. We would recommend using a termiticide like Taurus SC instead. You can find more information on doing a complete treatment for termites in our Termite Control Guide.
Temprid SC Insecticide has an indoor residual of approximately 90 days and an outdoor residual of approximately 30 days. It can be applied as frequently as every 10-14 days per the label instructions, depending on the pest you’re treating for. Cimexa Dust should not be applied in areas treated with Temprid SC. Typically, that is used in cracks and crevices and other places you can’t use a liquid insecticide for.
Yes, we can sell Temprid FX to you if you live in the State of California.
Yes, you can alternate using the Gentrol IGR. It will last for up to two weeks. The Temprid SC is labeled to be applied once every 7-10 days per the product label. Please let us know if you need anything else.
Temprid SC and ExciteR are both labeled to be used in restaurants. ExciteR provides a quick kill and flush out of insects while Temprid SC will also provide a quick knockdown and a great residual. We recommend incorporating a roach bait such as Maxforce FC Magnum along with an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) like Gentrol IGR. Baiting and sanitation is key for any roach program.
Using Maxforce FC Magnum you get five times the active ingredient(Fipronil), plus a new technology called ContactX that kills roaches even when they just touch the bait. Other roaches touch or eat the dead roach and spread the bait again, controlling the entire colony, even the roaches you can't see.
Gentrol IGR is the "birth control" for roaches. IGR's prevent the immature roaches from becoming adults therefore they are not able to reproduce. Mix 1oz Gentrol with 8ml of Temprid SC in a 1 gallon hand pump sprayer per 1,000 sq ft area.
