Terrific stuff
By Graham on 06/07/2019
Tenacity has worked for me exactly as expected. The landscaper has been putting this down for two years. I decided to buy direct and apply myself. This way, I can control the schedule rather than wait for the "pros" to do it at their convenience. Excellent product.
works great

Doesn't hurt new grass!
By Kevin on 07/26/2019
I brought in 10 tons of dirt to landscape my lawn. I planted Kentucky blue grass, perennial rye and fescue. When the seedlings came up, so did the imported weed seeds in the dirt to compete. As far as I know this is the only herbicide you can use at the time of seeding. It killed the crabgrass quick. In other places in my yard it killed yellow nutsedge and creeping bent grass (with 3 applications). Use a surfactant in the tank with Tenacity.
Tenacity

Just trying this last week, tips started turning white, thought that this was supose to get rid of bentgrass permanently but after further research its gets it out of the yard and u have to keep spraying tenacity to keep bentgrass from coming back ,, I guess it's better than redoing the whole yard,,, I'm hoping for the best,,, GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR YARD

Tenacity
By David on 08/02/2019
I read several reviews of the product before ordering. I followed the instructions in applying, but it took over 5 days to see any effects ( rather than the two I'd been led to believe). So far, I'm seeing significant die back of the crab grass. A second dose seems advisable, so I'll tentatively say that I'm happy with the results..........

Tenacity worked
By Steve on 08/02/2019
I have a problem with creeping bentgrass in a tall fescue yard in ky. Did an online search, and read about tenacity. I tried it and at first didnt think it did anything, after about a week, my bentgrass and crabgrass and nutsedge started turning white then to brown I am thrilled that it actually worked as it did. Count me happy
Wow! Crabgrass, see ya, bye!

Looks like this is going to be my go to application for the lawn for foreseeable future. Crabgrass was first to change color to white (applied on Tuesday, white on Saturday.) Clover definitely taking longer. About to hit the lawn with second app 3 weeks after first to we'll see how that goes, soon thereafter it will be time to do an overseed.
Crabgrass Attack
By Mark on 08/09/2019
It too quite a long time, but it has killed the crabgrass. You do need to use a fine spray and cover it really well. I'm going to use crabgrass preventer next spring. It's been extremely bad this year, so hopefully I can get it under control now.

Worked as described but.....
By Grover on 08/10/2019
I followed the instructions and the clover and crabgrass were killed, but so was my grass. I was careful to only spray the weeds but my grass in the area turned brown and has not returned to the green color I had prior to spraying the weed killer. I'm not sure if I'll try it anywhere else in my yard. As far as killing the weeds it did the job.

Tenacity Review
By Clint on 08/11/2019
This was the first time I've used the product and am a believer. I bought this product specifically to treat post-emergent crabgrass. I mixed Tenacity with a surfactant and applied directly to crabgrass and it was completely dead within two to three weeks of application.
Works great even without a surfactant
By Josh on 08/16/2019
First time using Tenacity and have been using it as a post-emergent without a surfactant and have been getting great results. Label says to use a surfactant in post-emergent scenarios, but you don't have to to get results. I thought I'd give Tenacity a try as I've been overseeding with Scott's Start Fert with Weed Control that has Mesotrione in it whihc is the active ingredient in Tenacity. Great product, will continue to use.
8/3/19 application
By Dean on 08/16/2019
I applied Tenacity as recommended with the Hi-Yield spreader sticker on a 20,000 sq/ft lawn. It was turning the crab grass white within days. Tomorrow is the two week mark and over half of my crab grass is already wilted and brown. The remaining has white leaves. Nutsedge seems to be taking longer to die. It's showing a much lighter green than before and some is white. I haven't seen any wilt and die off yet though but I'm confident that it's on the run. I'm thinking about doing a second application to knock out any remaining weedy grasses before I dethatch and over seed this fall. Tenacity is pricey but for how little I need to use to see results it's worth the money in my opinion.

War on Nimblewill
By Janet on 08/16/2019
After two applications on my nimblewill infested lawn, applied two weeks apart, I am seeing some browning of the target weed and no damage to the lawn. I am encouraged so far. Will apply again at the proper interval and hope for more progress. I used both other products with Tenacity that were recommended but did not find the blue marker to be very helpful. There was not enough contrast between it and the lawn to be able to see where I had been and where I needed to go.
Got different advice!
By Pamela on 08/16/2019
When I called customer support for the company that makes Tenacity, someone told me it could be reapplied every 10 days, but had to be applied only when it didn't rain for 2 more days after application. With the unpredictable rains in zone 6, this is quite difficult to do, but it was a very light rain the next day of only a couple of minutes. Also, my local landscaper stated it takes "weeks to show" effects, and by then there will be way too much bent grass. It's green so I'm living with it!! Confusing information annoys me with such a potent product. I don't want to harm my lawn by over applying this product. Also, I had an extremely difficult time removing the cap and had to use pliers. Then the cap was difficult to secure fully...tipped over and leaked like crazy.
