Bentgrass invaded 1.5 acres
By Nancy on 11/19/2016
Amazing product. Wish had known after new seeding of 5000 sq ft in summer after pool install. Summer grass planting - Big mistake - was overrun with barnyard grass - good thing I love to weed = 6 hours a day for days and days. I knew I had bent grass, too - was invaded by neighbors - 'course easy to blame them (smile). Now am conquering bent grass and spray 2 feet into neighbor's yards on either side as a buffer. Lovin' the results. Happy to pay the price. thanks so much. Ohio

2nd REVIEW OF TENACITY
By Ab on 08/25/2017
I think the fact that I came back and bought more speaks volumes of what I think of Tenacity. Works on nimblewill, but also works great on just about all weeds. USE AS DIRECTED. A little goes a LONG WAY! Thanks for being helpful Tenacity! 10*. Note: Do use in tandem with Non-Ionic Surfactant for Herbicides.

Kills crabgrass as promised
By Billy on 08/27/2017
Applied tenacity as directed with the addition of Astrazine and Surfactant on centipede grass. In about a week you could tell something was happening, and in few more days the crabgrass turned white, the death sentence has been delivered. I plan on applying a 2nd application in 2 to 3 weeks after the initial application. Tenacity is the only herbicide you can safely apply on centipede grass and kill crabgrass.

Tenacity
By Jeremy on 08/30/2019
I have a centipede yard, which I had to resod this year due to spraying with some Home Depot herbicide... Expensive and back breaking experience. I have a bit of crabgrass and nutsedge coming up. The Tenacity turned it white and it is dying. I think I might have to apply once more to totally kill it. It works well and the centipede looks great! Didn

Bentgrass on the run
By Greg on 06/13/2020
Noticed a new invasive grass in my yard. IDed by searching invasive grasses on the web. Called Creeping Bentgrass, it will take over your yard if you let it. An old article from the Chicago Tribune said Tenacity is the only selective herbicide that will kill it. One must do 2-3 applications. I have done 3 and most of this bentgrass is dead. Tenacity is expensive but so far, worth it. It saved me from using Round Up and killing all the grass. P.S. do not get any of this on other plants. I had a little spillage near a couple of bushes and it killed a part of each bush.

Great product
By Rc on 09/06/2020
Fantastic as a pre emergent when seeding; this has eradicated a significant crabgrass problem in my lawn and provided good poa annua suppression. A little goes a long way so spend some time reading the label. I had complete whitening of my fescue upon first use but this has reduced with each subsequent application.

It Works Great - Just Follow the Directions
By Vincent on 09/11/2020
This is an effective and easily-applied herbicide that will kill even established crabgrass, the reason for my purchase. Within several days of application per the easy instructions - I also added a surfactant and an agricultural dye to the solution - the crabgrass blades started turning white, the indication that the weed is dying. I chose to pull out the dead and dying weeds, a chore which is made easier by the Tenacity because the roots loosen - before spot re-seeding approximately seven days after the first and only application. Be forewarned: even if you're careful when spraying the herbicide, there will still be discoloration of the immediate surrounding grass.

Salvation
By Justin on 09/29/2020
After a decade of fighting crabgrass, from big-box-store granular pre-emergents, to the unending toil of manual removal of mature physical crabgrass plants with a weed removal tool....when i tried tenacity this year as a post-emergent for very well established crabgrass plants, I cried tears of joy for how effective it worked. I wish I could have all the time back I wasted over many years...had I only known about Tenacity.

Excellent product
By Rcg270 on 07/24/2014
Bentgrass began turning white and Nutgrass brown a week after the first application. Read the directions for applying, must be water in after applying. Costly, but for the small amount you mix with water an 8oz bottle will last a long time.

Works as advertized
By Jerry on 08/26/2014
I used this product 4 weeks ago to some of my problem areas as far as crabgrass, creeping charlie and nutgrass. It did the job! Make sure you follow the directions as far as the 1 teaspoon per two gallons though. My first batch I did not measure and it took awhile for the grass to bounce back. Definitely turns the weeds white but don't worry it bounces back.

So Far So Good
By Rick on 09/08/2014
I just put down my second application and so far I am very impressed. I'm putting it down with a 2 gal. tank sprayer. It has "done a number" on my bent grass and that is what I was primarily after. As a bonus, it is also wiping out my wild violets. I have been trying to kill those for about 10 years. I'm anxious to see what things look like in the spring. Has this really eliminated the patches of bent grass (and violets) or are they coming back in the spring?!?

Good Job!
By James on 08/30/2015
I have treated Nimble Will and some broad leaf only once. The areas I treated have turned brown after being white and looks like it did the job! I still have a lot more area to do and hope to get rid of all the undesirables in our lawn. Thank you, Jim

Great product for getting rid of Creeping Bent Grass
By Bob on 08/23/2016
I found creeping bent grass in my newly soded lawn. The Univ of Idaho extension actually determined what it was and told that there was a selective herbicide for treating it that would not kill the grass. They could not recommend a brand product but did tell what to look for. That's when I found Tenacity. I applied a small amount and with a week it looks like it has killed the bent grass.

Loved it!
By Deb on 08/29/2016
I could see where I sprayed the next day. A week later the weeds and trash grass are turning white. I used it on a buffalo grass lawn and am seeing NO damage so far to the buffalo grass. It is a difficult process, about three years worth, to get buffalo grass to a level where there is no weed competition. From then on, it is virtually maintenance free. If it works at seeding as it says, that process will go to one year. So far, I love this product!

This works even where I thought it wouldn't
By John on 08/31/2016
This stuff works. It works very well on crabgrass but you do sometimes have to spray a couple of times. It also is pretty good on creeping Charlie. It is not the best on some of the other weeds it is recommended for. It also works at killing my tall fescue in my bluegrass. That is what I like it for the best. I spay it on the tall fescue about 3 times spread out a week apart. It kills it within a month. I was told by professionals I would have to kill it with roundup and reseed. I also recommend using a measuring spoon instead of the syringe. I just dip it in the bottle and put it in a funnel in my sprayer. Then I rinse off the spoon with water inside the funnel.

ALL AROUND GREAT !!
By Steve's on 05/22/2017
This particular product is great! Have patience, it is slow to work. Follow directions precisely. Kinda' pricey but the only way to remove bent grass from a Kentucky Blue blend without killing everything. Works well on broadleafs too, but there are many less expensive options for those.

May be working. Poa is turning white, but roots look fine...
By Frank on 06/13/2017
I ordered tenacity about 2 weeks ago. Got it and put it on with the blue dye and used the non-ionic surfactant. The blue dye really didn't help me that much, turned my shoes, socks and pants leg blue. I could tell where it was in some spots in the yard, but in other spots, you couldn't tell any was there. We applied it in the late afternoon, and it was dry by noon the next day when the grass dew was gone. We then reapplied it 5 days later, and there were spots in the grass where I noticed the grass was turning white. It doesn't look like its dying, but it's only been 1.5 weeks. But it is definitely white!! So I don't have a definitive yes or no on whether or not its going to work, and will update my post in a few weeks.

Perfect Once You Hit Something It Targets
By Justin on 06/20/2017
This is a very-selective herbicide. It worked great for some Crab-Grass in my Centipde but unfortunately didn't touch green-killinga. I am not holding this against it in the review because it is not labeled to do that. Ironically, it did knock out most of my green nutsedge, which is in the same family as Killinga I hear. the solution to that was a product called Dismiss (also sold here). I just want to point out this product DOES have some soil activity. I rinsed out a sprayer about 6' from a shurb and had a few leaves turn paper-white in color - oops. Had some areas go light green as well. Seems to be recovering nicely and needed to be trimmed anyway. Just be careful. This is one of those super-powerful , yet highly selective herbicides.
