Someone mentioned I needed an actuator? It foamed up then turned to liquid and dissapeared. I thought it was supposed to dry as a hard foam. Not sure if I'll by this again. Don't know if this worked or not.
Expert response: Thank you for your comments! The Termidor Foam can comes with the actuator; you do not need any additional tools to dispense the product. The product is an insecticide with a foaming agent, so it is designed to expand to fill voids and then dry clear, similar to products like hair mousse. Please let us know if you have additional questions or concerns.
Ihad been using Premise but thought I would try the Termidor. I bought two cans. The first worked well but the second foamed at the top of the can and at the nozzle tubing junction. DMYOPC replaced the second can but when it arrived the nozzle was loose in the tubing. Obviously Termidor needs better can construction. I am not happy with Termidor. I will stick with Premise.
The first application I put down when I replaced the baseboard in my living room about a week ago. I will know more as time goes on! I hope between the professional application and my own application this will be the end of a surprising story! My rating is no reflection on how well the product works. It just too soon to tell the end result!
I purchased this foam to control termites. It is too soon for me to know if it worked. The termites apparently had been in my home for quite some time, therefore the damage was extensive I had to replace all the studs in two of my living room walls, including the header boards. These walls were both main walls by the outside of my home. I did use the foam in other areas of the house. I will be having thermagrophy done to detect any bugs within the walls.
