Pendulum 3.3 EC Herbicide should be applied when soil temperatures are idealy between 55 and 65 degrees. We recommend using a soil thermometer to check the soil temperature or you can contact your Master Gardener with the County Cooperative Extension Office for their recommendation on the best time to apply pre-emergents in your area. There is also Syngenta’s GreenCast Website which is a great resource to check the soil temperature in your area. Please go to www.greencastonline.com, click Soil Temperature Maps then type in your city/zip code under Location Search.
