Advance 375A Select Granular Ant Bait
By Dave on 05/09/2012
Last year I had a problem with carpenter ants and called in a professional exterminator who used the 375A at a cost to me of $165.00. Now, I fill the traps left behind by him from his job for a lot less. Had I known about DoMyOwnPestControl.com before, I would have never called him in to begin with. Thanks..

Works well on field ant mounds
By Anonymous on 08/12/2013
My last professional pest control contractor gave me a bottle of this. We have what he identified as field ant mounds popping up where mulch meets stone, and we certainly have a lot of that around the house. The ants are red and black and rather large. Stirring up a bit of the mound and pouring out a few ounces of granules gets the ants to the bait; several days later the mound is inactive and can be swept away. Larger mounds may need a second application or treatment in more than one area. I find they do not return to the previously treated sites.

It works!
By David on 08/07/2022
After calling in professionals twice, and still having swarms of ants in the kitchen every morning, my wife did an online search and found Advance 375A ant bait. I left ONE teaspoon of the granules on the main track that the ants were following. At first they didn't seem particularly interested, paused, then went on their way. Day 2: there were a few ants sniffing at the bait. Day 3: there were no ants. That was about 3 weeks ago. So does it work? YES.

Easy and effective
By Jeff on 06/14/2024
I used this along with the Maxforce gel. Used very little of each in areas outside where we've had masses of all kinds of ants. The ants took to both readily and we noticed a huge difference within a couple of days. This 2 lb jug and the several tubes of the Maxforce should last us a long time.

Pretty effective!
By Ant-agonist on 05/01/2025
I’ve been only using sugar based and this was my first protein based product. They do love this stuff! And it doesn’t dry out / ants don’t bring debris into the bait stations. Though I believe it gets stale because ants start ignoring once it’s been out for a while (about a week or so). They would also prefer real protein like dead bugs even when I put fresh ones out. The number of ants I see has actually increased, but I’m trying to see this as part of the process.

KILLER BAIT- Advance 375A
By Bill on 10/15/2010
Living in Northern Calif. at the snow line on 40 + acres we have a variety of critters, BIG and small. One of which are ANTS which can be a real nuisance inside as well as outside, close to the house. Since using Advance 375A for the past two years around the home, few if any ANTS have dared to come into the home. Keep them a reasonable distance away and they don't come close.

Advanced 375A Select Granular Ant Bait -2 lb
By Tom on 05/15/2011
We had carpenter ants 10 years ago. They did $20,000 of damage to my house, materials only. We started spotting them again in several rooms of the house. I could find no damage but I knew they were somewhere. I finally isolated them in a bedroom and knocked a hole in the wall, poured the ant bait into the hole and in a few days we started seeing fewer ants. In about two weeks the ants disappeared altogether. As a preventive measure, I put the ant bait in the attic and in the crawl space and every place I would go if I were an ant. So far, so good. I will continue to monitor the situation and place the bait where it seems appropriate. Excellent product. I feel like I just saved $20,000. Well worth the 49 bucks.

Its a miracle
By Tim on 06/05/2011
Finally, no more ants. I spread this around the outside of my house and apparently the ants liked it. I only have the occasional ant; before if I left anything out the ants were there within an hour. I would highly recommend this product.

Used by Professionals
By D. on 07/07/2011
This is the product was used by the professional exterminator I called to address a carpenter ant problem. The ants were apparently coming from outside the house to the inside. The professional used this product in select areas around the house and yard and within days an immediate difference was noted and within three weeks the ants were virtually non-existent. I purchased the product to keep on hand so I can feed my ants before resorting to the professional.

Good granular bait
By Jesse on 02/11/2013
Used in Ant-b-gone bait stations. Nice granular bait with a broad label for a lot of different kinds of ants. I am a professional and I prefer Ascend granular bait over this as a broadcast treatment but the Advance is a nice rotational bait or spot treatment bait.

Proven Ant Bait
By Rich on 03/31/2017
I have used Advance 375A Ant bait for three years, and it is very effective against small and medium-size brown ants and carpenter ants. I sprinkle it around ant hills as they emerge and under plants and along paths where ants travel. Two cautions: Do not use near dogs (who love the smell) and buy a new container each year to maintain peak effectiveness.

This works for me!
By Dave on 09/03/2017
I had really good luck with the Advance Carpenter Ant bait for those ants last year, so I should have gone with this one for my new problem with smaller ants, but I tried and failed with something else first. The Advance 375A came through, once I finally offered it! (The Carpenter Ant bait was too large and not attractive to these smaller ants.)
