Advance and Firstline Termite Bait Systems

The main difference between Advance Termite Bait System and Firstline Termite Bait Systems is in the active ingredients used. Advance uses a slower-acting poison called Diflubenzuron. The delayed-action of Diflubenzuron is a good thing because it allows time for foraging adult termites to distribute the bait through the entire colony, resulting in more complete colony elimination. Firstline, on the other hand, uses a stomach poison called Sulfuramid as an active ingredient. Stomach poisons result in quicker kill, but often leave colony elimination incomplete.
