Advion Roach Bait Gel should be applied once every two weeks (cleaning up old bait placements prior to new applications) to keep the roaches attracted to the product. Adding water to the roach bait gel is not necassary and may reduce the efficacy.
Exposing Advion Cockroach Gel Bait to extreme hot or cold temperatures can affect the potency and attractiveness of the bait, which can cause roaches to avoid the bait, so it will not kill effectively.

Advion Roach Bait gel should be safe to use around any pet as long as you keep the application out of reach of the pet. Since you are applying a gel and not a spray, there is nothing released into the air where sensitive animals such as birds could run into respiratory issues. Yes, Advion Roach Bait Gel can be used with the bait plate stations. You should remove the perforated tab so that roaches will still have access to the bait. For most roach bait applications, it is best to apply the bait directly into cracks and crevices to make it most available and attractive to roaches. There is a great video directly on the product page above with directions on how to apply roach baits.
You should place Advion Roach Bait Gel out as often as needed. Baits and sprays are not used in the same areas. We have a great video here on where you should be placing the bait. We also recommend that you use an IGR (insect growth regulator) in addition to the bait. This will help prevent the infestation from getting larger while you are eliminating it. Advion Roach Bait Gel is a commercial grade product. You would not be able to find it on a retail level. We do however offer free shipping when you place an order through us.
You would not want to bomb in areas that the Advion Roach Bait Gel would be applied or bomb after applying the Advion as this can contaminate the bait and make it less attractive.
In general it would not be recommended to apply Advion Roach Bait Gel if you are not treating for an active infestation. We would not recommend applying any products inside the TV, but you could apply Advion Roach Bait Gel on a piece of tin foil or plastic wrap and set it on and under the flat screen TV. The roaches will be attracted to the gel and eat it and this will help kill the roaches. It will not stop them from dying in the device, however. You could also surround the device with insect glueboards to trap the roaches as they leave to feed.
The inert ingredients in a product such as Advion Roach Bait Gel are considered proprietary and do not have to be disclosed. Advion Roach Bait Gel is a slow kill so that it has time to be taken back to the colony and spread. Roaches can start dying within a few hours to longer. How long it takes to eliminate a roach infestation depends on how large the infestation is, how consistent and thorough you are being with treatments and what products you are using. There is not a set time; it can take but it can take weeks or months even to get complete control. Advion Roach Bait gel is typically not used alone but in combination with other products. Advion Roach Bait Gel? has no odor as listed on the Safety Data Sheet but should only be applied is small pea size drops as this is more attractive to roaches Place every 10-12 inches where activity is noted. Applying too much would just make the roaches less likely to eat it. There are food based attractants in the product but any possible smell would not be harmful. It would only be harmful if you were to physically ingest a large quantity of the bait. While you could use both Advion Roach Bait Gel and Alpine at the same time it would be better to instead rotate between them every 3-4 months to prevent resistance build up to any one bait.

Yes, roaches can become resistant to Advion Roach Bait Gel (or any other roach bait gel) over time if the same active ingredient is continuously used.
