    Q
Repeated flea reinfestation of washed and sealed clthing, can i use it to wash clothes, and seal it fora while
For repeated flea reinfestation of washed and sealed clthing, clothes be washedwith and seal it for a while before final washing post infestation? I cant wash all of My clothes every few days... for some reason im having repeated clothes reinfestation (after washing and drying).
    A
Alpine WSG cannot and should not be used to treat clothing. Heavy Flea infestations should treated every 14 days along with frequent vacuuming multiple times a week. Contents of the vacuum should be placed in a trash bag and removed immediately after.

Treating the exterior of the home would be suggested as the infestation may be coming from the lawn outside. Please review our  How to Get Rid of Fleas Treatment Guide for more information.

I will be spraying the interior of my apartment for cockroaches (American and german). Which would be best for this?
    A

    Q
    Can Alpine WSG kill no-see-ums?
I've been having a problem with no CMS for 8 months and can't find anything to kill them
    A
Alpine WSG is not labeled for noseeums/gnats.  We would recommend using Talstar P. It is a very good general insecticide that is labeled for noseeums. This can be broadcast across your lawn, sprayed on bushes, trees, flowers, etc. It should not be sprayed on water or any type of edible. You can use Talstar P as a broadcast spray over your lawn, sprayed on bushes, trees, flowers, etc. It should not be sprayed on water or any type of edible. You want to concentrate on areas where see a lot of activity. Talstar P will not keep new gnats away, but it should eliminate the gnats that land of the treated surface.

  • Asked by D.
    08/03/2014
    Q
Why are Pharaoh ants excluded from Alpine WSG label?
    A
Alpine WSG is NOT labeled for pharoah ants because:
    • Baiting is the only effective method for elimination of control of Pharaoh Ants
    • Residual spray treatments are not effective with Pharaoh Ants because they result in the colony budding and contaminate bait stations.
    • Baits must be placed systematically (not randomly) in order to be effective
    • In buildings with severe infestation, total elimination may take up to a year of persistent baiting.

  • Asked by Armando from Ohio

    Q
Can I apply Alpine WSG as a trunk spray instead of Safari?
I was thinking about using this as a substitute for Safari until I read your answer to a similar question. The answer stated "there are many other products we recommend for insect control for those who know the Safari name and brand but are looking for a product that is more cost effective but equally as effective at controlling the pests". Could you please provide a couple of alternatives for a basal bark treatment against EAB? Thanks
    A

Alpine WSG is not labeled for emerald ash borers in this particular formulation. We do have other products with a different active ingredient in it that can be used for a basal trunk treatment, such as Adonis 2F Insecticide. Be sure to check the label on the specifics on how much should be used per gallon of water.

    Q
If I can apply Alpine WSG to the box spring, bed frame, and furniture, then why not a mattress?
    A

According to the label, Alpine WSG cannot be applied to the mattress. Keep in mind that the label is the law. If you'd like something safe to spray over the mattress, you can use something like Steri-Fab.

    Q
How much Alpine WSG should I mix for 1/2 gallon of water. And how much NyGuard should I add for a half gallon for cockroaches?
    A

You can use 10-30g of Apline WSG per gallon of water depending on which pest(s) you are treating.  Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.  NyGuard IGR is mixed at 3ml per gallon of water so you would need have the rate of each for the ½ gallon container of water used for application

  • Asked by Dave from California

    Q
Can Alpine WSG be applied while it's raining?
    A

It is not recommended to use Alpine WSG while it is raining outdoors. This will wash the product away, and it will not be effective for the pests your are attempting to eliminate. We would recommend waiting until it has been down for at least 6 hours before it rains.
