Amdro Yard Treatment Bait Kills Fire Ants Granules is designed to provide season-long control of fire ants. The product contains a combination of two powerful active ingredients with an insect growth regulator to provide a unique two-way killing action. It works by attracting worker ants who then carry the bait into the mound as food for the whole colony. They will then eat and feed it to the queen, killing the colony and preventing it from producing new ants. This granular bait is highly attractive to fire ants, harvester ants, and bigheaded ants. It can be applied using a broadcast spreader or handheld spreader. Available in 5 lb. bag which lasts for up to 3 months and can cover up to 10,000 sq. ft.
