Yes, we would recommend using our safety kit because bat droppings can contain certain elements that you would not want to breathe into your lungs. There is no secret to removing bat droppings; a putty knife to chip away at the droppings and a bucket is the usual items to use.
The Basic Safety Kit includes Tyvek Coveralls (covers head), a pair of safety goggles, a pair of Nitrile Chemical resistant gloves and N95 Valved Respirator Mask.
We suggest the applicator to wear shirt, shoes, socks, pants and chemical resistent gloves. If applying in a non-ventilated area, you will need to wear a respiratory mask. You may look at our Basic Safety Kit for the necessary protective gear.
The Basic Safety Kit has Tyvek Disposable Coveralls. Tyvek consists of ultra fine continuous high density polyethylene fibers, which are compressed under high heat and pressure to form a non-woven material.Â
The mask in the Basic Safety Kit should be sufficient for most pesticides and herbicides. Make sure when you're applying any product, it's being applied on a day with little to no wind. Always check the label of any product you use for any specific additional precautions they may list.
