How should Bio Advance Termite Killer Granules be applied?

Open the container and sprinkle the granules onto the ground (bare soils, mulched areas, landscape beds, or turfgrass) directly adjacent to the building foundation. Make a band of sprinkled granules 6 inches wide around the structure being treated.

Directly after application, water until moist, but not to the point of run-off.

Do not disrupt treated soil.

Where can Bio Advanced Termite Killer Granules be used?

This product can be applied to areas that surround building structures, wooden fence posts or poles, other wooden constructions subject to termite attack.

Areas that can be treated include bare soils, landscaped planting areas, mulched areas and turfgrass.

How does Bio Advanced Termite Killer Granules work?

This product is formulated on a granulated carrier for perimeter band applications. When applied to soil, moisture causes the granules to disintegrate and release the active ingredient into the uppermost layers of soil where termite foraging activity occurs.

How much will area will Bio Advanced Termite Killer Granules cover?

Apply this product every 4-6 months around the perimeter of my home and new shed. The new shed was treated completely with liquid BoraCare purchased from this company and I use the granules as an added maintenance control. I find it works great for me. I like the ease of application with this product and especially the ease of ordering online. This product has an extended spout which allows total control of the granules. I have not seen one termite anywhere since I started using this product and since I'm an elderly lady the delivery to my home is an added plus.

Easy to apply and the coverage is accurately stated. I don't know how good it works because I didn't have have any termites just using it for prevention

According to the manufacturer, Bayer Advanced Termite Killer Granules will remain active and effective for 6 months after initial application. They need to be watered in but not the point of runoff.

Can I spread Bayer Advanced Termite Granules over pine straw mulch or should mulch be removed first?

According to the Bayer label you can apply to both the mulch and to the soil to protect against termites. We recommend that you apply the product to the soil to prolong the effect of the product.

Does Bayer Termite Killer only kill termites on contact, or does it work by termites passing on the product to other termites and eventually killing the colony like Fipronil does?

Bayer Advanced Termite Killer Ready to Spread Granules does not contain Fipronil it contains Imidicloprid. Imidicloprid works the same way as Fipronil by transfer.
