The B&G Bulb Duster 1150 holds 10 oz. of dust but to use the duster correctly you should not place more than 6 oz. inside the duster at a time. You want to leave some room for air to compress the dust for it to apply the proper amount when you are using it.
The B&G Bulb Duster 1150 comes with three tips. There are two tips for granules and they are 1/4" tips and there is one smaller tip for dusts and it is 1/8".
The B&G Bulb Duster 1150 is designed so just a small amount of dust comes out at a time. You only want to apply enough dust to kill insects. If a there is a large pile the insect may go around the dust. The duster could also be clogged and would need to be cleaned out.

The B&G duster would be a great tool for treating the gap around your stairs or similar cracks and crevices around the structure. Depending on the insect, you will want to choose an insecticide dust with some residual, such as Delta Dust, which is moisture resistant.
