The mixing rate of Bifen XTS for sod webworms is 0.07-0.15 fl oz per 1000 square feet. This generally mixes in 1-2 gallons of water. To ensure the best control for sod webworms, postpone watering or mowing for at least 24 hours after application. This can be done every 21 days as needed.
Since Bifen XTS is oil-based it will hold up better outdoors than Bifen IT. This means that the ants cannot detect that an area has been sprayed and cannot avoid the treated area, as they walk over the area they pick small particles of Termidor SC up on their body and inadvertently carry back to the colony spreading it to other ants.
