Can I use the BurnOut as a lawn killer? How long should I wait before planting the new lawn?
Also will it hurt my trees or bushes?

Yes, the BurnOut Weed & Grass Killer will kill any vegetation it comes into contact with so while you can use it on your lawn to kill it, you need to stay away from bushes and roots of trees. According to the product label, you can replant new grass within 24 hours but we normally recommend waiting at least 7 days after killing the lawn to reseed.

Is BurnOut Weed & Grass Killer RTU safe around pets?

A

As long as you keep pets/children out of the area while you treat and until the BurnOut Weed & Grass Killer RTU has had time to completely dry or settle it is safe for pets and people to return and resume normal activity typically after 4-6 hours.

If I spray the existing lawn on a hillside and wait 7 days, can I plant shrubs and perennials in the area?
Because removing the grass would destabilize the hillside, I am hoping to spray with burnout, and after 1-2 weeks, I'd love to plant in the dead grass without moving it to prevent erosion. Is that possible?
