Can Cornerstone 5 Plus Herbicide be safely used on bermudagrass to control henbit, clover and grassy weeds?

Will this just stunt the bermuda (early spring) while it's still dormant and brown or will it kill it?

Answer:

Cornerstone 5 Plus Herbicide is going to suppress bermudagrass per the product label therefore would not be recommended on a bermudagrass lawn.  CELSIUS WG Herbicide would be a great option for henbit, clover, and many other broadleaf and grassy weeds. This is safe to use on bermudagrass during any dormant/growing season for actively growing weeds however the product label does advise that weed control is more rapid when soil temperatures are above 65 degrees and slower when soil temperatures are below 65 degrees. We do recommend avoiding herbicides when bermudagrass is transitioning in and out of dormancy as this is when it is the most sensitive.  Please view the product label for application rates and a list of the weeds controlled.
