According to the manufacturer, Capstar Tablets for Dogs and Cats has to be given to the dog/cat as it comes and cannot be cut in half.Â

No mention anywhere to how long this actually last or is that the catch here?ACapstar Tablets for Dogs 2 - 25 Ibs begins working within 30 minutes. In studies, CAPSTAR achieved greater than 90% effectiveness against adult fleas on dogs within 4 hours and cats within 6 hours. It does not last more than 24 hours.
