    Q
How many scoops of Cyper WP should be mixed per gallon of water?
Hi. This is my first time using Cyper WP and I have the one pound container. It came with a scooper, but the package does not state anywhere on how much to use. I am guessing that it is one scoop per gallon. But I do NOT want to guess, so that is why I am asking you how many scoops per gallon?
    A

Each jar of Cyper WP comes with a full product label attached to the the jar. If you take a close look, you will see that you can peel off the label and there is a direction booklet attached. Cyper WP does come with a scooper and you do use one or two level scoops per gallon. Most of the common pest…

Will Cyper WP control scorpions in Arizona?
    A

Yes, this product is one of our best sellers for scorpions.  Cyper WP comes with a scooper inside which  you can use to mix one or two scoops with a gallon of water in your hand pump sprayer.  For scorpions you need to pack a punch, so we recommend using 2 scoops per gallon of water.&…

Will Cyper WP kill crazy raspberry ants?
    A

Cyper WP will kill any type of ant that you physically spray it on, but the problem with most ants is that the colony is somewhere else.  If you want to get rid of the problem for good you have to get rid of the colony, which is the source of the issue.  We sell a Raspberry/ Caribbean Crazy Ant Ki

    Q
Is Cyper WP safe to use on a lawn with pets and dogs?
I want to use Cyper WP due to having a lot of spiders at my house. We have found brown widows with their "spikey" eggs. We also have black widows and common house spiders. We have 2 dogs that stay outside and are known to lick, chew and dig in most places. Is it safe to apply Cyper WP in the backyard where the dogs are if I let it dry before putting the dogs back out?
    A

Yes, Cyper WP is perfectly safe to apply around pets and/or children.  When you are applying the product you should do exactly as you suggest, which is keep the pets inside or if applying inside in another room until the product dries.  After it dries which is usually about 30 minutes, it is perfe…

    Q
    Does Cyper WP kill scorpions?
    A

Yes, in fact Cyper WP is one of our most popular products for killing scorpions.  You should use the higher concentration (2 scoops per gallon) when spraying for scorpions outside because you need an extra punch for scorpions and large roaches.

    Q
Is Cyper WP effective on ladybugs? We are inundated with them.
    A

Yes. Cyper WP is a great choice for ladybug control. Because Cyper WP is a wettable powder formulation, the product will stay on the surface of the material that is sprayed making it easier for the ladybugs to receive a lethal dose. It may be necessary to spray once a month during the ladybug season…

What do I need to use to kill camel crickets and spiders? Deltamethrin Dust?
    A

Dust is sometimes a good option for those insects, but sometimes it can be a little messy.  I would say our best seller is actually a dust you mix with water called a wettable powder.  Wettable powders are good because they make a solution in a one gallon hand pump sprayer which is usually…

We have Allegheny Mound Ants will Cyper WP be an effective product to control and or rid our property of this type of ants. We also have fire ants and maybe one or two other species of ants but the Allegheny Mound Ants are causing the most problems since they are so aggressive.
    A

Yes, Cyper WP should be effective if you use it as a drench on the mounds. Using a shovel, scrape away the top of the mound and pour one gallon of the diluted Cyper WP into the mound. Unfortunately we cannot find one product that has been labeled for Alleghany Mound ants. Cyper WP is labeled for ant…

    Q
I have spiders in and on my house. Which product is better for killing them, Cyper WP or Demon WP?
    A

Cyper WP is the generic of Demon WP. Both products contain the same active ingredient in the same concentration. Q
What products should I use to get rid of a heavy infestation of millipedes?
I have dead and crawling ones every morning inside and outside
    A

Millipedes are usually going to be present when there is a lot of moisture in the area. If you have a lot of mulch near your house you may want to consider raking it back at least six inches away from the house. Also trimming bushes so that you can see the soil beneath them and so they do not touch …

    Q
Once a carpenter ant nest is found, what are some options for direct treatment?
Through treatment by traditional sodium borate formulations I've managed to drive the carpenter ants from my house. After some searching I've found their nest outside. I setup several small containers of the sugar formulations and spread Advanced 375 over the area. It looks like it worked to some extent but the ants are still there though in diminished numbers. They are no longer taking the sodium borate sugar solutions and they are no longer taking the Advance 375. What else do you recommend for direct application to the ground above and underground nest? The size of the area is 3 feet by 4 feet roughly ovular and when they were feeding they were consuming 1-2 fl oz of Terro a day.
    A

If you know where a nest is, then direct treatment with an insecticide that will kill quickly is always the best solution.  The best method is to use a liquid insecticide or a dust directly on the nest.  For liquid you should use Cyper WP  which is a powder you mix with water in a one…

    Q
What can I use to get rid of spiders indoor?
I use Cyper WP for outdoor use. We have some small black spiders. What is safe around people?
    A

Cyper WP can be used indoors and outdoors for spider control. When treating indoors be sure that all pets and other people are out of the application area and they can return as soon as the area is dry. The Cyper WP product label recommends 2 scoops of product per gallon of water, sprayed direct…

Can Cyper WP be used with Termidor?
I have had an ant problem for a couple of years. I started using termidor and it has solved that issue however it is not helping with the spiders. Can I use these two products together?
    A

You can use them at the same time, but not in the same areas. If you spray the Cyper WP on the same area where you have applied the Termidor SC, you will make the Termidor SC repellent, and render it ineffective for ant control. If you have different target areas for the Cyper WP, say in the eaves o…

    Q
What insect might be responsible for small webs in my cabinets, around sink drains, etc. in my weekend house?
These are smaller-fibered and more dense and less organized than spider webs. Is there a chemical I can use to treat for these pests that is not harmful to people or pets? Also, we seem to have earwigs and those small, soft millipede-type things (these latter hang around in paper and books). What should I use to discourage these as well? We don't live in the house on a regular basis, but we use it during the summer and occasionally on weekends.
    A

Some species of spiders do make very odd webs and it is possible that you are in fact dealing with a spider. It is also possible that you are dealing with a stored product pest of some sort. You can set out glueboards in your cabinets and in the unused sinks to see if you can catch the insect that i…

    A

Even though Brown Recluse spiders are very scary to have in your house, they are no harder to get rid of than any other spider. The hardest part of getting rid of the brown recluse is finding them since they like to remain hidden. Cyper WP would be a great choice for indoor and outdoor spider contro…

Cyper WP would be a great choice for indoor and outdoor spider and wasp control. Q
I need to know how to use Cyper WP with Permethrin SFR for Wasps.
I need to kill wasps on my property, and I plan on using Permethrin SFR mixed with Cyper WP. When mixing these two products together, should I use the recommended amount for each product as if I was using each product alone? I need a quick knock down from the Permethrin, but I also want a good residual from the Cyper WP. What are your suggestions for the amount of each product per gallon of water in a tank sprayer? Thanks!
    A

Permethrin SFR and Cyper WP are both very similar products, and we really do not think you should mix them together or need to. Cyper WP does have a slightly longer residual than Permethrin SFR, but it also has a fast knockdown just as good as the Permethrin SFR.  Typically, you would mix one o…

    Q
I just sprayed with Cyper WP to eliminate wasps and hornets. What should I see happening?
I just sprayed with Cyper WP around my house and deck. When I sprayed a couple nests with Cyper WP, it didn't seem to effect the wasps at that time. I came back about a half hour later, and I didn't see them around the nest (nor flying around the deck). It appears to have eliminated them. Is this what should happen? I guess that I would have expected the wasps to immediately drop when I sprayed them directly with the Cyper WP. Thank you!
    A

Cyper WP does not offer an instant knockdown even if it is sprayed directly on the wasp. Cyper WP will however kill the wasp after just a few minutes. What you saw happen is exactly the way the product was intended to work. If you want an immediate knock down you should choose a product that contain…
