Demon Max will not injure trees when spraying the trunks and/or base of the tree for carpenter ants.
For carpenter ants active inside trees, the product label states to find the interior infested cavity and inject 0.25% emulsion (1.3 oz / gallon of water) using a treatment tool with a splashback guard. Reapply under heavy reinfestation pressure after 1 week if needed.Yes, Demon Max would be a good option for cicada killer wasps. The mixing rate is 1.3 fl oz per gallon of water. You will apply directly to the soil where the wasps are nesting.
Cicada Killer wasps thrive in disturbed environments, such as landscaped yards and places where bare soil is exposed. You can discourage the wasps from nesting in your yard by cutting your grass on the highest setting and by adding a thick layer of mulch to flower beds during the Cicada Killer Wasp season. These wasps do not like over saturated lawns either, so over watering during their season will help prevent them. Unfortunately, there is no fool proof way to prevent cicada killer wasps. For prevention you can try to use a granular insecticide such as Talstar PL Granules in the couple of weeks before this pest is known to emerge. For current infestations, you can also use Delta Dust in each individual burrow.
Unfortunately, most insecticides are not effective on these bees since they only cut the leaves and do not chew on them. This article has a few non-chemical suggestions to help reduce damage to desirable plants:

Onslaught is labeled for a wide variety of small flying insects including gnats, midges, and other small biting flies, and should help reduce the number of noseeums on your property. Be sure to spray the areas where you have noticed the noseeums landing or resting as Onslaught will only eliminate those insects that land on treated areas.
For indoor use, we recommend Microcare aerosol.
Demon Max contains petroleum distillates and we would recommend to turn off pilot lights before applying it. Also make sure to wait until it's all completely dry to use again or avoid applying it near that area.
Demon Max is not labeled to be used on wood floors and would not be recommended. Being an oil based insecticide, it has an extremely strong odor and will stain surfaces such as wood, concrete, vinyl, etc.
If you are treating for wood destroying pests, Bora-Care would be the recommended treatment for treating raw wood in it’s bare state (no paint, stain or sealant). When applied to raw wood, BoraCare absorbs completely throughout the wood and lasts the entire life of the wood
Please read the product label for complete application instructions.
Demon Max is labeled to kill spiders including brown recluse. Please read our Brown Recluse Spider Control Guide for more information about spider treatments.
Demon Max does not list lady bugs as a target pest on the product label therefore we cannot recommend this for eradicating lady bugs specifically. If a lady bug were to contact a treated surface however it would most likely kill it.
Demon Max cannot be used indoors for fleas as this cannot be broadcast on carpets, rugs, under furniture, etc. This is an oil-based insecticide that will stain surfaces and leave a strong odor. Demon Max can be used outside the home as a perimeter foundation treatment, on lawns, bushes, trees, and shrubs.
Please view our Indoor Flea Kit and How to Get Rid of Fleas Treatment Guide for more information on a successful flea treatment program.
Demon Max will kill most species of cockroaches, including German cockroaches. It is mixed at the rate of 1/2 - 1 oz per gallon of water for cockroaches. Please take a look at our Roach Control Guide for more information on doing a complete roach treatment. However, Demon Max only kills those roaches that contact a treated area and should not be used alone for an effective roach treatment for this reason. Not all roaches come out of hiding to contact where you have sprayed. You should only spray along baseboards and in cracks and crevices when using inside.
One of our roach control kits would be recommended for roach control. These professional kits include non-staining, low odor concentrated insecticide for spraying the outside perimeter of the home and inside underneath appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. You'll also get Roach Bait Gel to help get rid of those roaches that like to hide. Baits can be applied up high in the kitchen, in the corner of cabinets, and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, which also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Finally, an Insect Growth Regulator is offered, which will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals. The insecticide must be applied with a 1-gallon pump sprayer.

You can apply Demon Max with any pressurized pump sprayer or backpack sprayer. Demon Max is labeled for flies.
Demon Max cannot be used on any pasture area. Any animals that would be used for slaughter you would use Extinguish Fire Ant Bait instead in pastures.
Demon Max cannot be applied inside appliances nor on stoves at all. It can only be applied as a spot crack and crevice spray on the outside surfaces and under refrigerators, stoves, furnaces, etc. as directed on the product label. We would recommend using a labeled oven cleaner to remove the product completely from the stove and give the inside ample time to dry before using.
