Is Demon WP safer around my 6 month old baby?
I have fleas in my apartment, is it safe to use around my 6 month old baby and how long do we have to stay out before going back in?

Demon WP is not labeled for indoor flea control. You would want to use a product such as Precor 2000 Plus Premise Spray. This product is easy to use and is safe to broadcast all over your floor surface. Precor 2000 Plus Premise Spray will kill adult fleas but also stop the reproductive cycle of those flease preventing them from laying more eggs. You would want to keep your baby and all children out of the treatment area until it dries completely. It normally takes a couple of hours to full dry. Once it has dried it is safe for you to bring your baby back into the treated area.

Demon Wp has a shelf life of 3 years if stored in a cool dry place. You want to use any diluted solution with in 24 hours of mixing.

Will it affect our 2 year old since she came in contact with it?
While spraying inside our house, our 2 year old slipped and fell in it. While she was crying, she put her fingers in her mouth before we could get to her. Should we be worried? If it is going to affect her, how soon would we see signs? What might it do to her?

Demon WP Insecticide is not harmful to children or pets after it has dried. If your child ingested the product, we recommend to contact Poison Control 1-800-222-1222.

Will Demon WP Insecticide become harmful to pets and humans if it gets wet again?
I have a 19 month old and a cat and we sprayed demon wp around the cracks and crevices of our entire house (where the walls meet the floor). If I were to mop in a couple of days, would it become poisonous to her again?

Demon WP Insecticide is safe for children and pets after it has dried. If you were to mop the area, it would take up any residual that was there. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Will demon wp kill or deter lizards and geckos?

A

As long as the geckos and lizards are out of the area while you are doing the actual application of the Demon WP it shouldn't effect them. You will most likely see a reduction in the gecko and lizard populations on your property though as you will be eliminating their food source (insects).

No, Demon WP is not safe to use around fruit trees. You can take a look at our Edible Garden Product page to find a product that is labeled to be used on fruit trees and also labeled for the insect that you are treating for. Please be sure to read the product label before use.

I sprayed termite insecticide all over my room. Is It safe to stay in the room after spraying?

Noramlly, termiticide is not labeled for use indoors. If you are referring to Demon WP insecticide, it is only labeled to be applied to cracks and crevices indoors. If you applied to areas outside of that please contact the manufacturer Syngenta 1-800-334-9481.

How much demon per gallon of water for roach control?
Any issues with use around caged parrots?

A

You would use 1-2 Demon WP Insecticide water soluble packets per gallon of water for roach control. Use the higher ratio for a clean out and lower concentration for maintenance. You would want to remove the Parrot from the treated area until it dries completely.

Building a new home, will it affect the wood in anyway if used before staining?
It will be alittle while before we stain, but need to treat for the bees, will it affect the wood against staining in anyway?

The Demon WP will leave behind a powdery residue on the surface that may need to be wiped off before staining. Can I use Demon WP right after a treatment of Termidor?
We bought Termidor last summer after an exterminator couldn't wipe out our any problem after 3 visits in one month. It worked great and we've used it again twice since, once in fall and once a week ago (May). No ants, yay. BUT... We have a good amount of silverfish still and the worst of the worst: centipedes! Lots of them. Today alone I found 3, and not just in the basement. So anyway, this Demon product gets good reviews for centipedes. And it doesn't sound as scary to use as the Termidor -- I like that we can use it inside as well as out-- but can I overlap the two? Demon inside and out, so soon after Termidor outside?

We would not recommend using the Demon WP after the Termidor SC nor would you want to. Termidor SC is a non-repellent product that works with a delayed reaction time and a transfer effect to help kill off colonies of social insects such as ants. Termidor SC also has a very limited label that only allows you to use it on or immediately adjacent to a structure. Demon WP on the other hand is a broadly labeled synthetic pyrethroid that will kill the insects that walk over treated surfaces. If you use the two together you will be losing the non-repellent factor and transfer effect of the Termidor SC. Termidor is labeled for centipedes and silverfish it will just take longer to kill them. You could use the Demon WP on the inside and the Termidor outside though and many customers choose to do just that.

If my cat eats/bites a roach that is dying from the poison will she get sick/die?

There is such a small amount of active ingredient that would be on the insect that your pet would have to eat tons of insects completely that had the product on them to have any chance of illness.

Demon WP is safe for people and pets to re enter the treated area after it has dried, typically 30 mins - 1 hour. They should not be in the area when the product is being applied.

However, Demon WP is a wettable powder that offers a faster knockdown whereas the Demand CS is microencapsulated and has a longer lasting residual. Both insecticides would work very well. Keep in mind that because Demon WP is a wettable powder is does leave a white powdery film on treated surfaces and Demand CS dries virtually clear.

If you are looking to a general pesticide spray, we would recommend Bifen IT. It is an amazing insecticide that is good for various pests, such as spiders, roaches, mosquitoes, etc. It can be sprayed indoors along the baseboards and cracks and crevices. Outdoors it can be sprayed around the perimeter of your home, on ornamentals and trees as well. This is not labeled for edibles. It is also safe once it is dry and dries clear so your pet will not see it. Mopping or getting where you sprayed wet does not affect the product.

Demon WP is labeled to eradicate wasps when they come in contact with the areas that have been treated. Please mix two water soluble packets to one gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft. There are four water soluble packets per envelope.

Demon WP is not labeled for gnats. We would recommend Bifen IT. It is a general insecticide and dries clear. It is labeled to be used indoors and outdoors as well. The residual indoors is up to 90 days and up to 30 days outdoors. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
