Does Demon Insecticide kill scorpions?

A

Demon Wp will work great in treating scorpions! If you are using the packets you want to use 2 packets per gallon of water and spray the perimeter of the structure 2-3 feet up and 2-3 feet out as well as indoors cracks and crevices.

I already purchased Demon Max. I want to kill, spiders, American roaches and palmetto bugs. Will Demon Max work or should I have purchased Dem0an WP?

have a bottle of demon max and am trying to see if is still good.

The date you see on the bottle will be the date it was manufacturered and packaged. If you store the item at room temperature and out of direct sunlight, the shelf will run between 3 and 5 years.

We have a hose end sprayer with 1 oz to 8 oz on the dial and it sprays 4 gallons of water per minute. The bottle is 32 oz, how many demon WP packets do we put in the jar to kill spiders?

You cannot use Demon WP in a hose end sprayer. This is a wettable powder that must be mixed and dissolved into water at the rate of 1-2 packets per gallon of water. You cannot use Demon WP in a hose end sprayer. This is a wettable powder that must be mixed and dissolved into water at the rate of 1-2 packets per gallon of water. There is no way to make a hose end sprayer suck up a powder to disperse in the water as these hose end applicators are only designed for liquids. You also cannot dilute it first and then pour it into the hose end bottle as you will not be accurately treating with the right dilution. You will need to use a hand pump sprayer similar to this Chapin Premier Sprayer to apply this type of product for spider control.

Demon Wp is not labeled to be applied in dishwasher and A/C ducts. It is very important that you read and follow the product label to avoid contaminating sensitive areas. You can use a high quality roach bait gel such as the Advion Roach Bait Gel to treat areas where spraying would not be appropriate (counter tops, cabinets, drawers, around dishwasher, a/c vent). The roaches will consume the bait and then go back to their nesting area and spread the bait which will help eliminate the roaches more quickly than spraying insecticides and IGRs alone. Getting rid of roaches is not a process that only takes only a few hours. Moderate roach infestations can take a few weeks to get rid of and severe infestations can take several months even when using all of the products needed (insecticide, IGR, roach bait) and sanitation is up to par.

Length of time needed before rain for Demon insecticide
Approximately 10-11 hours after spraying the exterior of my home with the Demon insecticide it began to rain. (I sprayed about 6:30 p.m. and it began raining the next morning.) Should that be enough time for the insecticide to "set" or will I need to respray?

As long as Demon WP had time to dry (1-2hours) the rain will not wash it away.

If I spray Demon WP outdoors for fleas, which IGR is best to be mixed with it?
The dogs are suddenly infested with fleas and they(the fleas) seem uncontrollable. I would like to spray Demon WP to control the fleas but I would also like to use the best IGR to be mixed with it. It is a BIG yard.

The best IGR to mix with Demon Wp for flea control would be Nyguard. Nyguard will actually stand up to the suns rays and will remain effective for up to seven months.

What if Demon spray was sprayed on cat food or cats got into the puddles of it left on the floor?
My elderly father bought this for roaches and was told it was safe to use around pets. He took that as you can spray it anywhere. It was sprayed on pet food and puddles were left all over the floor where my cats were able to walk in it and lick it up? Now a few weeks later my cat is having awful seizures. Im not blaming Demon, I blame my father. But I need to know if its possible that it has caused his illness...please help me.

Demon wp is safe around pets after the treated area has dried. It sounds like this product was applied outside of label instructions. We highly recommend to contact the manufacturer Syngenta 866-796-4368 for further instructions.

Will demon wp harm birds?
i have bought demon wp from your company for killing spiders and noticed a brown widow spider in a tree when I was taking down my feeders to refill. I need to know if it is safe to spray the tree. since the humming birds and land on that tree to eat from my sugar water. I do not want to kill or make my little humming birds ill or die. But I have bite already by a brown widow and it was horrible. Those spiders need to DIE. so can I spray my trees and it not affect my humming birds. I will of course take all feeders down for a few days after I spray.

Demon wp is safe to use around animals. You want to make sure the area is completely dried before they re enter. Keeping the feeders away for a couple days would be a great idea. Please follow the label instructions for application.
