One (1) quart of Dragnet SFR makes 32-100 gallons of solution depending on the area to be treated and the type of pest you are treating for.
- Indoor Treatments: for fleas, roaches, ticks, ants and other indoor pests, only 1 to 1.6 ounces is needed per gallon.
- Outdoor treatments: for fleas, ticks, ants, mole crickets, chinch bugs and other insects, 1 ounce will treat 1000 square feet of lawn.(for other specific solution mixing instructions please refer to the label)
Areas treated as labeled are safe to return to after area is completely dry. Product should not be sprayed or applied directly to animals, feed, or drinking bowls.

Infected trees should be cut down (before the newly hatched beetles fly out of the trees in the spring/summer) and the wood burned or chipped, while other still healthy trees should be sprayed annually to protect them. Because of the natural boring behavior of the beetle they are protected from topically applied insecticides and systemic insecticides (those injected into the tree or applied as a root drench) have proven ineffective for pine beetle infestations. Healthy trees can be protected before the beetles attack by topically spraying them with a product called Dragnet. Read Full Answer »Dragnet SFR does have a residual but it is not typically very long. Only a few weeks. However, the bigger issue is if the company did not use an IGR, which is an insect growth regulator. IGR's are essential when treating fleas because it prevents them from reproducing and laying more eggs. Also, Dragnet SFR will not kill flea eggs, so when the company comes to spray they are probably killing some of the adults but not any eggs. So after they leave and over the next few weeks you have new flea eggs hatching. This is why our indoor flea kit comes with an easy to use aerosol can with flea killer and IGR in one can. Also, you should be vacuuming thoroughly before the flea treatment and then you need to treat exactly 14 days later since flea eggs hatch every 2 weeks.
