Read Full Answer »Equil Lambda 9.7 CS is not a true repellent meant to keep bugs away, bugs cannot see but can detect it and it cannot be used in a thermal fogger. It is designed to provide a long residual to continue to kill insects that contact a treated surface.
As long as you can thoroughly agitate the Equil Lambda 9.7 CS mixture, there should be no issue using 8 hours after mixing. Our rule of thumb is to use solution within 24 hours of mixing.
As long as you follow the Equil Lambda 9.7 Cs product label the product is safe to use in a home with children. Be sure the children are out of the area while you are applying the Equil and they can safely return to the treated area as soon as it has dried.
After applying Equil Lambda, we recommend that you properly ventilate and give it some time. Once the treated areas are dry and ventilated, any smells will eventually dissipate.
