Product Overview
The FBS1 Fly Bait Station is constructed with chipped metal flakes in the plastic, creating a high contrast that attracts flies. Its innovative design includes a 5-year UV additive, that prevents the elements from breaking down baits and provides a sheltered space for flies to feed. With long-term baiting, the FBS becomes an effective kill zone and management solution.
The front cover has a locking lid along with vents allow flies into the station while protecting bait from wind, rain and other elements. The Fly Bait Station is made of 100% recycled heavy-duty plastic, has durable hinge design, and spring-loaded locking mechanism for easy closing and opening. It is 6.5” x 3.75” x 2.75”.
The FBS can be used with granular and liquid fly bait. The station can be mounted on fences, walls, trees, building perimeters, near trash dumpsters, trash cans, door openings, in barns near stalls, feeding troughs and anywhere flies are a problem. The station easily mounts to all types of surfaces using zip ties, screws or liquid nails. An FBS stake, sold separately, is designed with a friction fit connection that secures ground placement of the station.
The station comes standard with 2 removable bait trays and barcode label.
Only 1 FBS-1 Fly Bait Station key is provided per order. We do sell additional FBS-1 Keys if more keys are needed.

The EZ Strike Fly Bait Station Placement Recommendations:
Around Dumpsters – Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations 3 to 5 feet apart and 4 to 6 feet above the ground.
Around Rear Entry Doors - Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations 5 to 7 feet on either side of doors 4 to 6 feet above the ground.
Around Drive Up Windows - Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations 5 to 8 feet from window on either side of the window. Do not put stations above or below windows.
Large Commercial and USDA and Inspected Facilities:
On Fence Lines - Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations 10 to 20 feet apart and 4 to 6 feet above the ground.
On Walls - Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations 10 to 20 feet on either side of doors 4 to 6 feet above the ground.
Around Dumpsters and Trash Areas - Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations 3 to 5 feet apart and 4 to 6 feet above the ground.

We recommend the Maxforce Granular Fly Bait which will kill a fly within 60 seconds of landing on it. This means that some flies will die in the station on the bait and some will fly out before they die. If you do have a lot of fly activity, then you would probably want to clean them out of the station every few days until activity was under control. However it is very easy to clean the flies out if you have to do this. The flies are much larger than the bait and will be sitting on top of it. You can take a stick or a plastic knife and just push them out of the station onto the ground or in the trash.QDoes the FBS-1 fly bait smell? We do recommend using Maxforce granular fly bait which does not have a strong odor that you would notice.QHow much bait will each bait station hold?AHow much bait the FBS station will hold will be slightly dependent on the bait that is used. Typically it will hold several ounces of bait at a time in the trays inside the unit.
