Rooted cuttings, young plants, houseplants, container gardens, trees, shrubs, and roses.
Application
For young plants and rooted cuttings, directly plant into the growers blend. For other plants, mix the growers blend into the soil or place it on top of the soil and thoroughly water it.
Cover drain hole with small rocks or a small shard of broken pottery to ensure good drainage. Add enough of the product so the plant sits at the correct level. Fill in around root mass up to 1 inch from the top of the pot. Press gently to secure plant. Water thoroughly and let drain. Do not pack too tightly. Add more if necessary with settling. For repotting plants, select a container one or two sizes larger than the one being replaced. Loosen roots from the root mass and use the same procedure as above.
Houseplants:
Water thoroughly after planting. For exceptional results, feed regularly with additional liquid plant food.
Trees, Shrubs, and Roses:
Select a container 2 to 3 times the diameter of the plant’s root mass and 3 to 6 inches deeper. Fill the container so that the root mass is positioned at the correct height. Secure plant in place while adding more of the product around the root mass until the container is almost full. Press firmly around the perimeter of the plant and water thoroughly. Do not pack too tightly. Fill the container to the top and water again.
