German roaches in florida in a home with young kids... What do I do to get rid of them?

I have tryed Talstar P (per a recommendation from my father in law) and bait stations but that dose not seem to do anything! I need something strong enouf to get rid of them yet safe for my kids (2 years and 1 year) I have no problems with weekly aplications if neaded

When teating for German Roaches, we recommend using a Liquid Insecticide, Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) and Roach Bait. German roaches multiply so quickly that they can sometimes be difficult to eradicate. A liquid insecticide we recommend is Alpine WSG which has the active ingredient Dinotefuran. Dinotefuran has been granted Reduced Risk status for public health use by the EPA, therefore making it safe in more areas. Alpine WSG has residual acitivity of 30 to 60 days for most applications. Using Gentrol Point Source (IGR) disrupts the life cycle of certain insects in the egg and larvae stages of development, essentially making it a type of birth control for insects. Each place pack lasts 90 days and is a key part of the program that will help reduce the population. It is not mean to be used as the only treatment for insects. Maxforce FC Magnum is our recommended roach bait because it has 5 times the active ingredient of Fipronil. It is fast acting and it’s low-toxicity, making it perfect for sensitive areas with pets or children.
