Growth Products NITRO 22 22-0-0 + Sulfur is a quality fertilizer that contains sodium and gives plants a steady, uniform nitrogen supply. Even at low soil conditions, this results in greener turf. It has a pH of 7.5 to 8, making it neutral to slightly basic. Most liquid fertilizers are compatible with this product. Excellent for turf, fairways, roughs, sports turf, sod, and lawns. It is also suitable for fertigation. This product covers an acre with 1-2 gallons.

Do not apply Nitro-22 directly on or below germinating seeds such as in a “pop up” fertilizer. Dry soil condition and/or combination with other starter fertilizers may damage germination. Always irrigate with sufficient water to reduce the possibility of fertilizer injury. Avoid application during mid day when temperatures are high. Do not mix Nitro-22 with acids or other acidic materials below a pH of 6. Prior to any fertilizer application, all spray mixing and application equipment must be cleaned. Carefully observe all cleaning directions on the fertilizer label. Fill the sprayer or mix tank at least half full with water and begin agitation.
Add fertilizers and other products as directed by labeling or in the following sequence:
- Dry flowables or water dispersible granules
- Wettable powders
- Flowables
- Emulsifiable concentrates
- Water based solutions
- Compatibility agents
- Micronutrients and Fertilizers
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
For fairways, roughs, sports turf, sod and lawns, apply 1-2 gallons per acre (3-6 ounces per 1,000 square feet) every 14 to 28 days during active growth period. Apply in a minimum of 87 gallons of water per acre (minimum of 2 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet).
