Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control 38% Permethrin is not labeled for use on vegetables so we cannot advise on rates for that use nor would we recommend you apply it to anything edible. The Hi-Yield Indoor/Outdoor Broad Use Insecticide with 10% Permethrin Insecticide is the Permethrin product that can be used on vegetables and should be used for cutworms and other listed pests as directed.
Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control 38% Permethrin should only be applied outdoors. If you have activity indoors, we would recommend using the Indoor Carpenter Ant Kit. Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control - 38% Permethrin is labeled for subterranean termites. However, a more effective method would be to do a trench around the perimeter of your home as it will only kill the termites that contact the treated soil. We recommend that you use a non-repellent product such as Termidor SC for a termite barrier. Termidor SC is the top termite product on the market. Termidor is completely undetectable by termites and once termites touch it they contact, ingest and spread the termiticide until it eliminates the entire colony. It will last 10 years or more in the soil. For more information on termite treatments, please read our 'How to Perform a Termite Treament Article'.
Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control 38% Permethrin will not kill on contact. It can take a few minutes for insects to succumb to the product. Keep in mind that this will only kill fleas that contact the treated area.

You will need to use a slug bait such as Sluggo Plus or Hi-Yield Improved Slug and Snail Bait to control the slugs.
Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control - 38% Permethrin is labeled to kill fleas. You should apply 0.4 to 0.8 oz. per 1,000 square feet outdoors. Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control 38% Permethrin is mixed at 1/8 – ¼ tsp (1-2 ml) per gallon of water for mosquitoes.
The mix rates for Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control 38% Permethrin are:

Hi-Yield 38 Plus Insect Control 38% Permethrin cannot be used indoors in a barn or chicken coop; it can be used outdoors around barns. You could use Onslaught Insecticide around and inside barns and chicken coops to treat where flies rest and to treat the ground for fleas. We also recommend adding NyGuard IGR insect growth regulator for flea control. You can apply these products while the animals are not present, and they can return once the application is dry. Keep in mind that for the best fly control, you will likely need to use a combination of insecticides, bait, traps, and on-animal treatments for biting flies. We also recommend that you inspect for rodent issues in the case of fleas since rats and mice can bring parasites into a barn.
