First, you want to be certain that you are treating for moss prior to application. If you are treating moss, rake the dead moss from the lawn after elimination. We would recommend waiting at least one week before applying a fertilizer to your soil. Be sure to use a fertilizer that has low or no phosphorus in it so that there are no adverse effects with the product. Your local cooperative extension can offer soil testing and assistance for fertilizer selections based on analysis of the soil also.
