Image Kills Crabgrass 3 Pack is labeled to control Dallisgrass, but this product has been discontinued by the manufacturer. There are several products that will suppress Dallisgrass. When an herbicide lists that it will "suppress" a weed rather than "control" it, it just means that the research provided from testing did not kill a high enough percentage of the weed in one application to receive a "control" approval, which is usually higher than at least 80 percent. So usually it means you need multiple applications and/or other cultural or chemical treatments to completely eradicate the weed. Dallisgrass is a weed that is notoriously difficult to eradicate quickly once it is established. The best option, once it has emerged, is to either spot spray with something like Round U p Quick Pro and re-seed.

How soon can i mow after application of Image Kills Crabgrass to my buffalo grass?

When using Image Kills Crabgrass we recommend mowing 2 days before or 2 days after application. However, if you have a newly seeded lawn, application should be made after the secod mowing per product label.

I notice most crabgrass herbicides say that adding a surfactant will make their product more effective.

No, Image Kills Crabgrass will not kill your lawn. It is labeled for use in fescue grass to kill crabgrass. Fill a clean one gallon tank sprayer with 1/2 gallon of water and add one packet with agitation. Finish filling the gallon sprayer with 1/2 gallon of water and continuous agitation. One packet will made 1 gallon of solution and treats 500 sq. ft. If the solution stands for extended period of time before spraying be sure to shake well again before spraying.

When applying Image Crabgrass Killer, do you saturate just the leaves of the CG or leaves and weed crown/root?

When using Image Kills Crabgrass 3 Pack, you will spray the crabgrass leaves until they are wet. You should see results within 10-14 days. Make sure the treatments are done when the crabgrass is young and actively growing. The temperature should be above 70°F.

The label states that is a post emergent for crabgrass and goosegrass but will it act as a pre emergent once sprayed in the spring. Or will I need to keep re applying all summer long, when new weeds emerge?

Is it possible to mix Image Kills Crabgrass with another such as Sedgehammer?

Unfortuantely, the Image Kills Crabgrass would not be able to be mixed with Sedgehammer. The Image does not have any tank mix instructions on its label, but the Sedgehammer has only one tank mix application on its label and that is for Glyphosate herbicide which is RoundUp.
