Product Overview

Interface Stressgard Fungicide is a professional turf fungicide designed for dependable disease control, improved turf quality, and stress-season performance on fine turf. Its dual-active formula combines iprodione and trifloxystrobin, giving turf managers multiple modes of action in one premix while providing a non-DMI option for rotation programs and resistance management.

Powered by Envu’s Stressgard formulation technology, Interface Stressgard helps support greener, denser, healthier-looking turf during challenging spring, summer, fall, and winter conditions. It is especially valuable in golf course and fine turf programs where disease pressure, seasonal stress, and turf thinning are ongoing management concerns.

Interface Stressgard controls key turf diseases including dollar spot, brown patch, large patch, leaf spot and melting out, Microdochium patch, pink snow mold, gray snow mold, red thread, pink patch, rapid blight, Curvularia, rust, Fusarium blight, and necrotic ring spot, with suppression of anthracnose. Labeled for golf courses, sod farms, and institutional areas where fine turf is grown, it provides flexible disease protection across greens, tees, fairways, and other listed turf areas. Use is prohibited at residential sites.

Full Application Instructions

General Application:
Interface Stressgard Fungicide should be applied when conditions favor disease development or when disease first appears, unless otherwise noted on the label. Apply with enough water to provide thorough and uniform coverage. Use 0.5 to 10 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Do not drench. Apply with a properly calibrated sprayer and maintain agitation during spray operations.

Standard Turf Disease Applications:
For dollar spot, brown patch, leaf spot and melting out, rapid blight, and rust, apply 3 to 5 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. On greens and tees, repeat applications at 14 to 21 day intervals as long as required. On fairways and other turf areas, repeat applications at 14 to 28 day intervals as long as required. For dollar spot control on fairways, use 2 to 4 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft.

Large Patch:
For large patch, apply 4 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. Make the first application in fall when conditions are favorable for disease development and before symptoms are visible. Make repeat applications in spring as needed on a 14 to 21 day interval.

Fusarium Blight and Necrotic Ring Spot:
For Fusarium blight and necrotic ring spot, apply 7 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. Use only preventative foliar applications when conditions first become favorable for disease development. Make additional applications as needed at 28 day intervals. Necrotic ring spot is not registered for use in California.

Microdochium Patch:
For Microdochium patch, formerly called Fusarium patch, apply 4 to 7 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. Repeat applications at 14 to 21 day intervals as long as required.

Snow Mold Applications:
For gray snow mold and pink snow mold, apply 4 to 7 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. Make one application before lasting winter snow cover. A second application may be made if there is an extended period of cold, wet weather before lasting snow cover. Apply again in spring after snow melt if needed. Envu snow mold guidance also notes Interface Stressgard may be used at 4 to 6 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. in late fall before snow cover, during a mid-winter thaw, and/or for spring clean-up after snow melt.

Corticum Red Thread, Pink Patch, and Curvularia:
For Corticum red thread, pink patch, and Curvularia, apply 3 to 4 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. Use as a preventative every 14 days as long as required.

Anthracnose Suppression:
For anthracnose suppression, apply 5 to 7 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. during periods of anthracnose pressure. Mix Interface Stressgard with Chipco Signature or another anthracnose control fungicide. Repeat applications at 14 day intervals as long as required.

Stress and Turf Quality Support:
When used at labeled rates, Interface Stressgard helps protect turf against winter stress, which may aid in faster spring green-up. When applied during spring, summer, or fall, Interface Stressgard Fungicide may result in healthier, greener turf and help mitigate stress from the summer season. Use in conjunction with good turf management practices, including proper fertility, irrigation, mowing, thatch management, and disease monitoring.Additional Disease Control Tank Mixes:
If turf is threatened by additional diseases, Interface Stressgard may be tank mixed with labeled fungicides such as ProStar, Chipco Triton FLO, Chipco Signature Fungicide, or Banol Fungicide according to label directions. For summer stress complex or summer decline, the label lists Chipco Signature Fungicide at 4 to 8 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. with Interface Stressgard at 3 to 7 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. For Pythium blight, tank mix with Chipco Signature Fungicide or Banol Fungicide according to the label for the target disease.

Use Restrictions:
Use of this product at residential sites is prohibited. Do not apply by aerial application. Do not apply by chemigation. Do not apply when wind direction is toward aquatic areas. Except for use on golf courses, applications adjacent to water bodies require at least a 25-foot vegetative buffer strip between the water body and the point of application. For golf courses only, do not apply to turf cut higher than 1 inch on golf holes where water bodies are present. Do not mow or irrigate treated areas until foliage is completely dry, and a 24-hour waiting period after treatment is preferred. Do not graze animals on treated turf. Do not feed clippings from treated turf to livestock or poultry. Do not exceed 30 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. per year or more than 6 applications per year.
