The JT Eaton Top Loader Bait Sation (Model 902) is a versatile bait station for rats and mice that can be mounted to tree limbs, fence tops, walls, ledges, structural beams and more. The tubular shape of the station provides two entry holes for rodents on either side, while the top tube with the secure lid is used to place bait down in the center of the station. The JT Eaton Top Loader Bait Station is perfect for baiting and killing nuisance rodents, especially roof rats and other large rats that tend to use fence tops, tree limbs and beams to access and invade your home. The station is super easy to use, and made of durable black ABS plastic that will hold up to repeated, long term use. ONE KEY PER STATION is included with each order. 6 KEYS are included with a case order.

Need to buy chunx. Holds 4-5 that drop down as rodents eat. Very good for maintenance kill. Sturdy design so pets/child unaffected.

Great company. If you are in warmer months baiting with this and using liquid bait in the bottles they sell separately is the way to go especially if you have slugs and snails. Rats do care about the slime. Plus if you have other things for them to eat like nuts etc liquid is the way to go. They upgraded the box wire you load the bait on. The station is sturdy and the positions you can mount the stations with are vast. In my case I removed the baffles, a nice feature. Don,t get hung up on keys because you might decide that you don't need to lock it. The top will twist lock in place and you could remove the screw. There you have nuisance animals, children and placent to consider when making that decision. Eaton's a first class outfit as well as dmopc.

The JT Eaton 902 Top Loader Bait Station is designed to hold the bait in the upright middle portion of the station on a rod and then the rodents can enter from either direction on the lower tubes to feed on the bait and leave. While there is a very small chance the rodents will die in the tube after consuming the bait, it is possible. However, normally they will die somewhere else after the poison has slowly taken effect on their bodies.

With the JT Eaton 902 Top Loader Bait Station you do not have a set place or level you would be mounting these stations around the home. You will want to mount it in any areas where the rodents seem to be running or congregating the most so that its right in their path and accessible to them. This could be along a roof line, top of a fence or fence support board, tree limb, etc. You could place them as close as 20 feet apart or only where you have the most activity dependent on your individual situation and what will be best for the rodent control.
