    Yes, Martins Permethrin 10% can be used on dogs. Per product label: Dilute 8 ozs. in 12.5 gals. of water Thoroughly wet the animal by dipping, sponging or spraying.
    Allow animal to dry in a warm place without rinsing or
    toweling. Do not reapply product for two to three weeks.

    How long do pets and humans need to stay away after using Permethrin 10% in the house?
    A

    After spray Martins Permethrin 10%, we would advise keeping out of the treated area for at least 1-2 hours after applying to let the area dry and settle before re-entering.

    Will Permethrin 10% hurt my dog if he licks it before it dries on him?
    A

    Martins Permethrin 10% is applied at  8 ozs. in 12.5 gals. of water and safe for dogs at this application. It is normal for dogs to lick themselves and this has been taken in consideration by the manufacturer. If your dog becomes ill or any change occurs, please contact your local vet.

    Martin's Permethrin 10% does not have an expiration date from the manufacturer, but most liquid insecticides usually have a shelf life of up to 5 years. You want to make sure the bottle is closed and kept out of direct sunlight and freezing temperatures.

    Can Martins Permethrin 10% be used to spray clothing?
    A

    Martins Permethrin 10% should NOT be applied to clothing. We do carry Tick Block which is specifically formulated for use on clothing. While both products do contain permethrin, the formulation of Martins Permethrin 10% contains materials that should not come into contact with your skin.

    Once mixed with water, how long will Martins Permethrin 10% last in the sprayer?

    You should use diluted insecticide mixtures such as Martins 10% Permethrin as soon as possible within 24 hours. After this amount of time, your active ingredient will break down and be much less effective.
