I had a major ant problem near the front door. I put this stuff in the corners and the ants attacked it like no ones business. The next morning, I saw no ants near the front door, and the ones I did see were dead. I do see a few random ones around the kitchen area, and near the back door as well. I just ordered another tube. The back door I noticed had these insects that jump. I thought they were ants, but ants usually don't jump like these things. Hopefully this stuff will get rid of them too.

Took awhile to watch the ants and find their entry point. However, within 2 days of applying it ants started falling out of my cedar ceiling dead a few times a day and I knew it was working! Now 2 weeks later no more dead ants and I've seen none crawling around inside!

Had carpenter ants randomly all over the house. Not sure where they were coming from but they were traveling all over the house without any concentrated area. I bought the two-compartment bait stations and put maxforce gel in one side and the granules in the other side. I put the stations throughout the interior of my home. Tucked them into the corners of rooms, the little plastic stations are discreet. The ants seemed to go for the gel, but I think it was good that I did both just to cover my bases. In a matter of a couple weeks, the ants appeared to be gone! What a relief!! So grateful for this product!

This product got the job done! We had a line of carpenter ants that had been infesting our kitchen for a few weeks. After applying the bait, the ants were gone within 2 days! A few weeks after the application, the product still seems to be keeping the ants away, as we have only seen one or two ants very infrequently, and these seem to be almost dead. Do My Own makes it easy and affordable to get rid of pests. If you live nearby, you can even just pick up the product from their office.

I have lived in my house for 6 years now and every year I have had to fight the carpenter ants. Last year was the worst. They were hundreds of them in my kitchen! I freaked out and got online to see what kind of control was available for the ants (local stores here in Indiana didn't carry any product for Carpenter Ants). I came across the Maxforce gel and the granules. I ordered both and received them quickly. I applied the products and literally the same day the ants were gone! Never saw another one until this past weekend. That is why I am on here...to order more product! A+++

Fast, efficient service. I received the product in record time. Too soon to know yet if it works. Those little buggers have to carry it back to the nest. I'm hoping to see lots of little dead bodies.

I purchased Maxforce Carpenter Ant Bait Gel on the advice of an entomologist from UW Madison, WI. It worked so fast! I put it up on the ceiling at the beam where they were coming out and the little troopers were swarming the gel to take home to their colony. The ants were GONE the next day. Thanks so much, Debby

Ordered this product for carpenter ants in a railroad tie wall. The product arrived quickly. The ants seem to be all gone (dead) within a few days!

We did 2 applications. The first was just on the floor under the kitchen cabinet and on some areas behind the counter top. Then a couple of days later we noticed another ant on the floor, so we applied some around the outside of the patio door. We haven't seen an ant since. Great product! We'd recommend it to anyone. Works Great! I live next to a creek with lots of trees, I place the gel on the steps and under the railings of the porch and deck. The carpenter ant problem is getting much better.

This stuff works. Received the gel in about three days after ordering and put the whole tube out that day. The next day only seen about 8 ants. Then as the days went on less and less then after about a week not a single ant in sight. I'd go with this first before you get the whole kit.

Our unwanted invaders gobbled up the gel about as fast as I could put it out. They were crazy for it. Within half a day, there were only a few dazed stragglers around. Within two days, there were no more ants to be seen. This beats the heck out of paying hundreds to a pro, as my in-laws did last year.

This carpenter ant gel is amazing. I put out about ten small globs of it the first night. The next night there were already fewer ants. I put out more in the same places on the second night; Again on the third night and once more on the forth night. I know it was supposed to take a few days more but by the fifth night I did not see any more of the little devils. I have not seen any more in that location and it has been about three weeks now. We had carpenter ants in our house and we could not find the location of the nest. I placed the Maxforce in three locations, the ants found one of them, and the next day they were all gone. The product worked great!

I had a huge colony under mulch and under my driveway, with three main entrance points. Just after sunset, I put a total of half a tube out, distributed between these entrance points. No exaggeration - there must have been 300 ants clamoring to eat this stuff within around 10 minutes. Next night I used a quarter tube, and there were hardly any ants (maybe five or six) wandering around. On the third night I used the remainder of the tube, but there were no ants at all. It's been approx 10 days now and I have not seen a single carpenter ant. Hopefully the colony is dead; it seems to be. In the past I used pesticides (Diazinon) which only suppressed the ants for a few weeks; they always came back.

I wanted to add something to the Advance Carpenter Ant granular bait, and I saw a professional use this so I tried it. I kept reapplying it as it disappeared, and I killed at least one nest that way. The combination is working as well as a professional service--maybe better--for much less money and with no messy sprays. The ants have not come back inside my home since I've used the two products outside. One hint is to look around outside for ant activity at dusk--that's when I spotted some trails I hadn't noticed during the day.

I tried all of the chemicals you can get at the home improvement stores nothing worked for more than a day or two. I put out the gel and the ants were all over it. I haven't seen any ants since then and it has been several weeks. The infestation was very bad. Well worth the money.

I am impressed with this carpenter ant bait gel. I have a weekend place on the creek and every time I go down there about 30 minutes after I go to bed I get up and turn on the lights and they are in my kitchen and bathroom hunting water and something to eat on the floors and even the walls, I put this bait out this last Monday evening in two places in the kitchen on the floor by the refrigerator and another just a foot from my sink on the floor just at the edge of the cabinet, this is where I would always see them in the middle of the night. Tuesday morning I got up and couldn't believe they had eaten all the bait gel in both locations, I haven't seen the first ant since, I did rebait both places that Tuesday evening, nothing had touched neither one.

I have to say that I'm totally amazed. We had carpenter ants everywhere. I even found one on my PC keyboard. I originally bought Grant's baits. A few would stop and eat but mostly they would walk over them in search of food or anything on my kitchen counter. I had to make sure my kitchen sink was always dry or else I would find them drinking. I was able to locate two areas where they would retreat but the Grant's wasn't working. I finally ordered a tube of Maxforce. I placed drops in a corner of my sliding door, and on the side of my kitchen counter. In about an hour, there were many ants at both sites. I watched them actually removed small pieces of the bait and carry it away. I added more and while doing so, the ants would literally attempt to eat right off of the tip of the tube. This was on Friday, 3/3/2012. On Saturday, I checked and all the bait was gone so I replenished it in both area. One ant appeared on my counter and began eating. He seemed lethargic so I left him alone, thinking he would go back to the nest. He never did. He stayed in that one spot for over 6 hours then finally folded up and died. I haven't seen a live ant since, even though I've placed 'fresh' bait in those areas. Thank you for this product!

I recently had an outbreak of both ghost ants & Carpenter ants. I purchased products for both types of ants and couldn't be any happier. They have worked as advertised. The money that I spent on these products sure beat what I would have been paying for a pest control company to come in and sucker you in on a contract. I still have more than enough leftover to take care of any future nests. And the products really do work. even better than I anticipated. Thanks DoMyownPestControl. I will be buying from you folks if the need arises again.

I was told about this product a few years ago. I used the product and in a couple of days the Carpenter Ants were gone. I continue to use the Ant Bait Gel twice a year to make sure they do not return. Works great, highly recommended.

Got the bait kit #1 decided to apply the gel 1st. Literary within seconds the ants were eating the bait. We knew where they were coming from so we applied where we saw the saw dust. I will report back with results in a few days.

It worked, no more ants. They were in our pop-up camper and we tried many store bought products and the ants kept coming back. This time, no more ants!

I was a little skeptical at the great reviews this product got but needed something special for Carpenter ants since the sweet base stuff you buy at Home Depot didn't work. We saw a few scout carpenter in a bedroom but never could tell if they were part of a large nest or just an occasional ant. I put the Maxforce in smalll beads near a crack in the window seal and along the baseboard because we weren't sure where they were coming from. Within hours the window seal was crawling with them and they were feasting on the gel. A lot of them died and dropped to the floor. I assume the others went back to their nest and infected the others. Bottom line: after 3 days we haven't seen another carpenter ant even though I put out more gel. This product is expensive given the small amount of gel you get in one tube. But it certainly works as advertised.
