Yes, we highly recommend to mix in a surfactant like Hi Yield Spreader Sticker with Monterey Kudzu Killer.  It will allow for the product to better stick and penetrate the foliage.Â
Unfortunately, Kudzu Killer is not labeled for Poison Ivy, only Kudzu so we cannot say for certain whether it will work or not since it hasn't been tested b y the manufacturer. However, we do have Bonide Poison Ivy and Brush Killer that works fantastic on Poinson Ivy.
According to the label, Kudzu Killer should be applied as a spot treatment but do not spray to the point of runoff. Contact with trees and other desired plants should be avoided.
Monterey Kudzu Killer has been discontinued and is not available to any state. Crossbow would be a good alternative.
