Is MotherEarth 2% Py Contact Aerosol safe to use around children and pets?
Does MotherEarth 2% Py Contact Aerosol have a residual effect on treated areas, and is it safe to use with children or adults still indoors? Do I have to clear the area of people and pets before applying the product? Can this product work well with Mother Earth D dust?

MotherEarth 2% Py Contact Aerosol is a contact aerosol which means that it only kills on contact and it does not leave a residual. It is perfectly safe to apply with children and adults in the home, but it is best to use the product while children are in another room. After about 20 minutes, the product will have dried and then it is fine to have children come back into the room. MotherEarth D is a product that leaves a residual and the same instructions apply as far as keeping children out of the room while you apply it. It is a great one, two punch to apply the MotherEarth D Dust and the 2% PY Contact Aerosol.

Is MotherEarth 2% Py Aerosol or Dust safe for 5 week old kittens?
I inherited a stray cat who had kittens. I have cardboard over concrete with newspaper over the cardboard. Assuming it's safe for kittens, can I spray the cardboard, or should I use something like a plastic mat or tablecloth? (The concrete floor would be too cold.)

Mother Earth 2% Py contains the active ingredient pyrethrin which only lasts a very short time, so you must make direct contact with insects to be effective.

MotherEarth 2% Py Contact Aerosol is labeled for use on mattresses and other furniture. You will want to make sure you test the product on a small inconspicuous area to test for staining.

Is there a safe indoor aerosol spray I can use to kill fruit flies and Gnats and doesn't stink?

MotherEarth 2% Py aerosol would be a good choice. There is a little bit of an odor associated with any aerosol product but it is known to dissipate quickly. This product can be used as a space spray or a crack and crevice spray and it is labeled for small flying insects like gnats and fruit flies.

Pyrethrin products like MotherEarth 2% Py Contact Aerosol will only kill the insects you spray directly with the product. It does not have residual killing power to kill insects that are not present when you do the application. If you are looking for a concentrated residual insecticide that can be broadcast sprayed for clothes moths and is not restricted to NY you should look at Fenvastar EcoCap.
