However, it does have some residual so you should apply it when it is not going to rain for a day or two to have optimum time to dry and stick. After which, it will last through some rain events, but typically this product is only good for a couple of weeks. If you have a heavy rain or it is applied in an area with constant irrigation or sprinklers every day, it will not last very long. -

There are two formulations of the All Natural Dog and Cat Repellent, liquid and granular. The one you are referring to in the 2 lb bottle is the granular formulation. We apologize for any confusion our description may have caused you.

Cats have made our veggie garden their personal outdoor potty, and it is killing our food production.AAll Natural Dog & Cat Repellent can be used in vegetable gardens. The manufacturer recommends that you wash all the veggies before you consume them to make sure any residual is rinsed off.
