Heavy rain should not wash off Thuricide. However, the label indicates you can incertain times apply at first sign of infestation and repeat at weekly intervals when needed. Please refer to the product label to verify if your use requires respray.

It is recommended that you use a mixed gallon of Thuricide Concentrate within 24 hours. It will lose its efficacy if used after that time period.

Natural Guard Caterpillar Killer Spray with Bt contains naturally occurring bacterium found in soils throughout the world that is not labeled to harm songbirds, other birds, wildlife or beneficial creatures when used as directed on the product label. It is best to apply when they are not in the area and hope they do not return until dry. Once the product has dried, it only has a toxicity level of that to kill something as small as an insect, and only those specific insects on the label.

Thuricide concentrate is actually not labeled for fungus gnat larvae and so we are not sure of how effective it would be. However, we do sell a product called Talstar One which is what we have always recommended for fungus gnats and works great. You should also place your plants outside to dry out a little bit or cut down on how often you water them, if possible, and this will also decrease the fungus gnat reproduction cycle.

Spray leaf surfaces thoroughly, top and bottom, for complete control. Agitate regularly while spraying. Use all of the spray mixture within 24 hours. Fruits and Vegetables: 1.5 oz. per 3 gallons of water (1 tbsp per gallon)
