Product Overview

Navigator SC is a professional-grade termiticide and insecticide that controls termites, ants, wood-infesting insects, and a variety of common insect pests. Containing 9.1 % fipronil as its active ingredient—the same strength as the popular Termidor SC and Taurus SC, Navigator SC controls termites and provides residual protection against future termite infestations. It can be used for both pre- and post-construction subterranean termite control applications.

Outdoors, Navigator SC insecticide can be used to kill ants and other perimeter pests including roaches, house crickets, centipedes, spiders, ticks and more.

Navigator SC is NOT labeled for Fire Ants.

This non-repellent insecticide is undetectable by the target insects. Pests that come in contact with and ingest the applied product will spread the insecticide within their nests resulting in quicker colony elimination. This makes Navigator SC an effective solution against ants and termites.

Please follow all label directions carefully before use.

  • Navigator SC is labeled for OUTDOOR USE ONLY. The only excepted indoor use is for spot treatments inside wall voids for termites.
  • Navigator SC CANNOT be used on pets for any reason.
  • DO NOT exceed the specified number of applications per calendar year. More than two applications of Navigator SC per calendar year can be made only if applied according to one of the following frequency and dilution rate application scenarios. • 0.03% 2 times/calendar year and 0.06% 1 time/calendar year
  • Navigator SC is not labeled for fire ants and cannot be used in yards for ant mound control.

    Excellent option for Termite treatment

    By Ramon on 07/01/2022

Same chemical and ratio as Termidor. Available in a big 78oz bottle and much less expensive. I'll also add that DoMyOwn was very helpful and quickly answered all my questions.

Questions & Answers

Q
Does Navigator SC Termiticide/Insecticide soak into dirt to kill nests?

We see little dirt trails going up under our house so we know nests are under ground. How will we know if this product will work for us as companies dig a ditch and apply a killing chemical.

A

When Navigator SC Termiticide/Insecticide is applied via a trench, it bonds with the soil leaving a 10 year residual. When termites come across treated soil they will take the residual back with them & spread it on to others. If you simply pour it on the ground, it will not soak into the soil.  It cannot be used to treat nests out in the yard.

We have a step by step guide that will walk you through how to do your own termite trenching treatment just like the Pros.

Q
I have carpenter ants around my deck, will spraying Navigator SC on my deck be effective against them?
A

Yes, Navigator SC will be effective on carpenter ants.  You can only spray 12 inches out from the foundation along the edge, you would not apply all over a deck.

Q
Will Navigator SC kill plants around the house? Also should it be sprayed at the base of trees?
A

Navigator SC Termiticide/Insecticide will not damage any ornamental plants as it binds with the soil. If there are termites inside the tree, Navigator states you should drill a hole into the tree & apply the product directly where the carton nest is. It cannot be used in the trenching method around the base of a tree nor sprayed around the base of the tree.

A
