Negate 37WG is not labeled to control Dalliisgrass.
For dallisgrass you have a few options really. You use something like Certainty. For this product you would also need to use a surfactant.
Image Kills Nutsedge is another option if treating a smaller lawn. We would recommend applying a pre emergent like Dimension 2EW before the weeds emerge for prevention. It would also be recommeneded to use a pre-emergent before it emerges for prevention.Negate 37WG cannot be used on Fescue or Saint Augustine grass.
Negate 37WG Herbicide is not labeled for cool season turf therefore would damage your Kentucky Bluegrass.
Since poa annua and cool-season grasses are so closely related, there are few products that will kill the poa annua without also harming the lawn. The only one we are currently aware of is called Prograss which can kill & prevent poa and can be applied at seeding, however, it can only be applied to residential lawns by licensed applicators. You may want to see if a service local to you can provide this chemical treatment to your lawn.
Your only other option would be to spot-treat with a Roundup-type product and then reseed with the desirable grass type in those areas. Using a pre emergent such as Dimension 2EW or Pendulum 2G in the fall and spring when you are not overseeding to help prevent the poa from emerging. Typically a split treatment in the fall will yield to longer and better prevention of the weeds.
Please view our Poa Annua Treatment Guide and our When/How to Apply a Fall Pre Emergent Video that may also help.
Negate 37WG Herbicide is mixed differently than other herbicides.
To mix Negate 37WG, you will dilute the entire 1.5 oz bottle in ONE gallon of water first (not in your sprayer but in a separate container) since there are different sized prills in the concentrate. You would then use 3 oz of your mixed solution in at least 1 gallon of water per 1000 square feet. The remaining initial solution can be stored for 2-4 weeks, just be sure you agitate the solution before mixing and re-applying. You can reapply on your dormant turf after 4 weeks if the target weeds are still present.
Unfortunately, we are not able to confirm with the manufacturer if this mixture rate would still be effective for weed control therefore we would recommend to mix a new mixture of Negate 37WG Herbicide at the proper ratios for best results.
If using a handpump or backpack sprayer to apply Negate 37WG Herbicide, it is necessary to mix the entire 1.5 oz bottle into 1 gallon of water to create the correct suspended concentrate of the two active ingredients. You will then take 3 ounces from that gallon of mixed solution and mix that into one gallon of water for spot treatments. The original gallon you mixed the entire bottle into will be good for about a month.
Please refer to page 27 of the product label under Mixing Instructions for more information.

Negate 37WG Herbicide is not labeled for velvet grass (yorkshire fog) and unfortunately we could not find a herbicide labeled to kill it. Since this perennial grass has a shallow root system, the most common method is to hand dig the velvet grass without harming your lawn. Another method is to spot treat the weeds directly with Roundup QuickPro and reseed any bare spots after 2 weeks.
