New York Roach Control Kit Rotation A is ideal for beginning or cleanout treatments of cockroach infestations in apartments, homes, and similar areas. This kit contains the chemical products we recommend using after inspecting the treatment area and taking preventative measures such as proper sanitation, elimination of food and water sources, and harborage elimination for complete roach treatment. Our Roach Control Kits also include Catchmaster 100i Insect Monitor glue boards to help monitor your infestation and treatment. Maxforce FC Magnum is a powerful roach bait gel that contains five times the active ingredient as regular Maxforce FC roach bait, killing roaches by ingestion, contact, and transfer from one to another. Gentrol Point Source Stations are a convenient and discreet way to apply the Insect Growth Regulator hydroprene, effectively interrupting roaches’ breeding. Zenprox EC is a non-repellent insecticide concentrate that quickly kills for fast control of an infestation.
If you have already used NY Roach Control Kit A, we recommend rotating treatment with New York Roach Control Kit Rotation B and New York Roach Control Kit Rotation C.
Zenprox EC must be diluted with water and applied with a pump sprayer such a Chapin 1 gallon pump sprayer.

Complete roach treatment includes two primary parts: Sanitation and Preparation, and the application of products. You will want to inspect for where roaches are hiding and breeding so that you know where to concentrate your energy. Next, prepare for treatment by eliminating food and water sources and reducing and sealing off harborage areas. After performing these crucial preparation steps, you are ready to apply the products in your Roach Control Kit.
How to Apply NY Roach Control Kit A
STEP 1: Baiting - Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Bait Gel
*To use the Maxforce FC Magnum tube, remove the closed tip by gently unscrewing it, and replace it with one of the included reuseable open tips. Use the provided plastic plunger or a bait gun to dispense the gel.
*Apply small bait placements approximately ¼ inch in diameter directly to cracks and crevices where roaches are most likely to encounter it. Ideal bait placements include:
*Do not apply bait in spots where you have used or plan to use insecticide sprays.
*Smaller, more frequent bait placements are better accepted than fewer, larger placements.
*Use up to 1.5 grams of bait (15 x 0.1gm placements) per square yard for light to moderate infestations.
*Use up to 3.0 grams of bait (30 x 0.1gm placements) per square yard for severe infestations.
*After application, replace the open tip with the closed tip to keep bait fresh, and store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children or pets.
*Reapply bait every 2-3 weeks or when placements appear to be gone.
*Roaches will die by ingesting the bait, physical contact with the bait or its residue, or from contact with roaches or feces of roaches that have consumed the bait.
STEP 2: Insect Growth Regulator - Gentrol Point Source Stations
*Do not activate Gentrol Point Source Stations until you are ready to use them. To activate a station, press firmly on the pouch located on the side of the device until you hear a snap or pop to indicate the capsule has been opened.
*Place the station in any orientation (vertical or horizontal) in areas where roach activity has been found. Ideal point source placements include:
*Each station treats up to 75 square feet for 90 days from activation. For areas larger than 75 square feet, use multiple stations.
*For convenient follow up, you can mark the month when a station has been activated with a pen directly on the station.
*For vertical placements, remove the paper backing to expose the sticky surface on the back of the station and press firmly onto a clean surface.
*The active ingredient will move from the station throughout the treatment area, so roaches do not have to come into direct contact with the station in order to pick up the active ingredient.
*Do not apply baits, sprays, or other insecticides directly onto the stations, although these may be used in the same areas.
STEP 3: Spraying – Zenprox EC Insecticide
*You will need a hand pump sprayer such as a Chapin 1 gallon pump sprayer to mix and apply Zenprox EC Insecticide.
*Use 2 ounces of Zenprox EC Insecticide (1 bottle) per gallon of water for your first application, and 1 ounce per gallon of water (half a bottle) for follow-up treatments, if needed.
*To mix the Zenprox EC: Shake concentrate well before diluting. Fill spray tank 1/3 - 1/2 with water, add appropriate amount of Zenprox EC, then finish filling the tank. Shake or agitate the mixture before spraying.
*If diluted spray is stored overnight, agitate before using. Only dilute what you plan to use within 24 hours of mixing.
*Apply Zenprox EC mixture as a spot or crack and crevice treatment where roaches have been seen or can find shelter or entry. Application sites may include:
*Do not apply on top of bait placements or where bait placements may be made. As a general rule, spray low, and bait high.
*Keep pets and children out of the treatment area until the spray is dry.
*Do not spray food handling surfaces or in ways in which food or utensils may be contaminated with the spray.
*Repeat applications as needed, but do not reapply more than once every 7 days.
STEP 4: Be Patient
*Complete roach control may take from a few weeks up to six months, depending on the size of the population and your diligence with good sanitation practices. Large populations do not appear overnight, so they will not be eliminated overnight.
*Use the included Catchmaster Insect Monitor Glue Boards to track your progress:
*Reapply products according to the instructions above until the roaches are eliminated.
*For situations requiring treatments over several months, rotate your baits using our New York Roach Control Kit Rotation B and New York Roach Control Kit Rotation C.
So far so good

Heavy infestation left by tenant. Bombed the house and they were still alive on all floors, bought this kit and after 2 weeks it appears to have done the trick. Bought xtra Max Force - glad I did - 2 tubes was not enough for my problem. Easy to do with VectorFog gel bait gun. Also bought Max Force FC bait stations to place on floors after treatment. Wonderful customer service, very helpful, good advice & prompt delivery.

Surprisingly Happy
By Dennis on 05/06/2017
We have adjoining houses and our neighbors had moved out and left so much garbage around that we eventually got infested. They were literally everywhere in our kitchen. I was a little skeptical at how well this product would work but was desperate to try anything. I bought the Rotation A Kit along with the Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations. As soon as the kit came, I put it to use. Within 2 weeks, we stopped seeing any signs of roaches. It has now been well over a year and we're still bug free. I am overly happy with the results and surprised at how well it worked.

I just put everything into play at my home I still find roaches but I didn't think that I could get rid of them over night. I will continue to use the spray then use the next step. I'm confident in the products with roaches it takes time.

A great product
By Alanna on 03/29/2019
Is it against certain regulations? Am I breaking the law if I order? I live in CT. I would like to order the NY kits as I have a severe roach problem that is resistant to store bought products. Thank you.
Unfortunately, the Zenprox EC that is in the New York Roach Control Kit Rotation A is restricted in the state of Connecticut, so we are not able to ship it there without a pest control license. You can still purchase the Maxforce FC Magnum and Gentrol Point Source from the kit separately, and then use something like D-Fense SC as your insecticide spray. D-Fense SC is also effective against roaches and is not restricted in CT.

3600 square foot Colonial house flooded with roaches, even while taking a shower. Previous tenants let dogs loose in the house and used bathroom all over. Ripped up carpet and tore out drywall to get rid of smell. Read I can use Permethrin and this to help against resistant strains.
The best way to eradicate roaches in the home is to use a combination of a residual spray, roach bait and insect growth regulator. Sanitation is key to a successful roach treatment, the chemicals can only do so much so you need to be aggressive and consistent with treating. Roaches, Bed Bugs and Fleas are not a 1 or 2 treatment procedure, it is going to take repeat applications, consistency and patience to eradicate.
We cannot say what size area the New York Roach Control Kit Rotation A will treat as that depends on the level of infestation. We can tell you that each gallon of solution you make can treat up to 1,000 square feet. The kits are set up on a rotation program - Rotation Kit A is a good clean out treatment to start with for an aggressive approach to treatment. After 90 days, you can rotate to Kit B or Kit C if continued treatments are necessary.

Bed Bugs and Fleas require the same, a combination of products and repeat applications to successfully eradicate.
Please view our Bed Bug Treatment Guide and our Flea Treatment Guide for step by step instructions as well as the Bed Bug Kits and Indoor Flea Kit.
New York has very tough restrictions on what they allow homeowners to purchase when it comes to professional grade products. They prefer that licensed trained professionals only handle them.
Our New York Roach Control Kits contain a different insecticide concentrate that is approved for sale in NY where the other Roach Control Kits (not labeled New York) contain a product that is not approved for NY.
The New York Kits can be used in any state though.
