    What do you mix with NyGuard EZ1 to kill roaches?
    A

    You can mix NyGuard EZ1 with any insecticide labeled for roaches, such as Temprid FX Insecticide, for application. We would recommend incorporating a roach bait gel to help implement a successful roach control treatment indoors. Please take a moment to read over our Roach Treatment Guide for further tips and information.

    Is NyGuard EZ1 safe to apply on carpet for flea control?
    A

    Yes, NyGuard EZ1 is labeled to be used on carpets for flea control at the mix rate of 1fl oz of NyGuard EZ1 with 1 gallon of water per 1500 sq ft area.  

    Prior to treating per the product label, carpets, draperies and upholstered furniture should be vacuumed thoroughly and the vacuum cleaner bag disposed of in an outdoor trash receptacle. Remove pets from area to be treated. Treat all areas that may harbor fleas, such as carpets, furniture, pet sleeping areas and throw rugs. Treat under cushions of upholstered furniture. After treatment, do not allow children and pets into treated areas until spray has dried.

    How much Nyguard EZ1 do I mix with Permethrin Concentrate 36.8% for bedbugs?
    A

    NyGuard EZ1? is not labeled to treat for bedbugs. We recommend if you are wanting to add and Insect Growth Regulator to use Gentrol IGR. ?Gentrol IGR? is mixed 1oz per gallon of water. We do not recommend to apply Permthrin indoors at all or for bed bugs. We recommend using one of our Bed Bug kits. It really takes more than one product to eradicate bed bugs. This is why we have specially put our kits together.

    Where can I obtain information about the toxicity of NyGuard EZ1?
    This is marketed as nontoxic but the data sheet says it is toxic, also says use outdoors only. I'm confused. Various websites are saying to use in on bedding, furniture, floors.

    Does NyGuard EZ1 have a strong odor?
    I'm mixing it in with Demon. I would like to spray the bedroom, bath, and laundry room while home with my granddaughter but don't want to if the odor is too strong.

    NyGuard EZ1 may have a slight odor, but that likely would dissipate after application as the product dries.

    What is the NyGuard EZ1 to water ratio?
    I ordered the 8 1oz NyGuard EZ1bottles and am wondering how much to use per gallon of water with Bifen IT?

    You want to mix 1oz NyGuard EZ1 per gallon water. You can mix this with 1oz Bifen into 1 gallon water.

    Can you spray Nyguard EZ1 mixed with Talstar on toys, and every inch of the floor?
    A

    When using products such as NyGuard EZ1 and Talstar, we recommend that you read and follow the label instructions. NyGuard EZ1 and Talstar can be mixed together but Talstar is not labeled to be broadcasted, it is only to be used around baseboards, cracks and crevices. Also, we wouldn't recommend using either product on objects such as toys.

    Will Nyguard EZ1 IGR Concentrate treat for ticks?
    I was told that this IGR could be added to Bifen IT for use on ridding my home of brown dog ticks. Unless I missed it on the label, I read nothing with regard to brown dog ticks. If this IGR is not for these ticks, which one is?

    NyGuard EZ 1 concentrate does not carry ticks on the product label. However, if you need to treat for ticks indoors, then you can use NyGuard Plus, a ready-to-use product that is labeled for ticks in general, which would include brown dog ticks. For a concentrate that is labeled for ticks, you could use Archer IGR. We apologize for any confusion.

    Can you use this NyGuard EZ1 with Cyonara 9.7 for carpet beetles?
    Hi can you use this product for carpet beetles along with Cyonara 9.7? I understand you are Not to spray carpeting with this as well, an just crack and crevices, correct? Any other info will help. Thank You.

    Can the NyGuard EZ1 be used for bed bugs?
    Someone here asked a question if Nyguard would work with an insecticide for Bed Bugs. You answered that it works Great with bed bugs. But Nyguard is Not labeled to work with bed bugs. Please reply.

    You are correct and we apologize if you were given the wrong information.  NyGuard EZ1 is not labeled to treat for bedbugs. We recommend if you are wanting to add and Insect Growth Regulator to use Gentrol IGR. Gentrol IGR is mixed 1oz per gallon of water. You are able to mix your liquid insecticide and IGR together in a 1 gallon sprayer and apply at the same time.

    Is Nyguard effective to use with Fenvastar to eliminate bedbugs?

    While NyGuard can be safely used with Fenvastar and other insecticides, NyGuard is not labeled for reproductive control of bed bugs. The only IGR on the market that is labeled for and shown success for bedbugs is Gentrol IGR.

    Would NyGuard EZ1 be a better option for treating a car with a German Cockroach infestation?
    A
    We would recommend thoroughly cleaning and vacuuming the vehicle first and then applying Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations or Advion Roach Bait Arenas. The roaches would eat the bait and share it with the other roaches and this will help eliminate the infestation.

    Is Nyguard safe to use in a fogger next to a lake? Will it affect the fish?
    A
    The NyGuard product label does say you must keep the product out of lakes, streams, ponds and other bodies of water. You may need to apply NyGuard IGR using a sprayer set on a heavy/coarse spray so that the droplets will be heavy enough not drift into the body of water. You can use the fogger to make applications of the IGR in other places where drift will not be a concern.
