I need to run this from the house spigot that is behind a holly bush. Ouch. Is it strong enough to keep on all the time or does it require turning on and off when being used?AThe connector hose on the Oasis Garden Hose Tap refers to the brass connector at the base of the unit to which you would connect a garden hose. Once hooked up to the garden hose, you would then use the Oasis Garden Hose Tap spigot to turn your water on and off.
