Onslaught Insecticide and NyGuard IGR will not be disturbed by vacuuming once the product has had time to completely dry.
Onslaught Insecticide does not kill on contact. The active ingredient releases slowly over time, allowing the pests to pick up the residual and carry it back into wall voids, cracks and crevices, and other spots where they may hide, so that it can be spread further through the population. We do recommend that you also use an IGR (insect growth regulator), such as Gentrol IGR, along with your insecticide to also stop the roaches' reproductive cycle while the insecticide is working to kill the adult population.
Onslaught will kill Black Widow spiders. Dilute at 1oz Onslaught per gallon water. Please see our Spider Treatment Guide for more tips and information.
Onslaught is the only product that we have that is labeled for mites in general and is safe when used as directed. Children should be out of the area while you are doing the treatment until it dries, typically 30 mins to an hour. Below is our advice on mites:

Onslaught Insecticide would be applied as a full coverage foliar spray applying to the point of drip but not run off as directed on the product label for the listed borers only. Bayer Advanced 12 Month Tree & Shrub Insect Control Landscape Formula can be applied to any non-edible trees for soft and flat headed borers and would be a better option for it’s systemic properties before the insects become an issue.
Onslaught Insecticide is mixed at a ratio of .5oz- 1oz to a gallon of water depending on severity of infestation. For cockroach treatments, we recommend mixing at 1 oz to a gallon of water. Please read label for further instruction.
All of the professional liquid products we sell, including Onslaught, come in a concentrate form. You need to mix the product with water, usually in a one gallon hand pump sprayer. Onslaught Insecticide is labeled to treat over 200 pests, and it starts working on listed pests as soon as the product is applied. We do not sell products for use on your skin. We must recommend that you consult a medical professional for concerns about your skin or health. Please be sure that you have a positive pest identification before purchasing or applying any insecticides.
You should vacuum before applying Onslaught and then wait 24 hours after application to do so again.
Onslaught is a great product for chigger control. Treatments for chiggers should begin in April/May and could need to continue through the summer as new chiggers move into the area. Treating the entire lawn is of little benefit because chiggers avoid direct sunlight and normally will not infest areas that are mowed or otherwise well maintained. Focus treatment on the unkept areas of the lawn and lawn edge. You can also use Onslaught to do a barrier treatment around the outside of your home and in your crawl space to stop pests from moving indoors.
