ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS
This pesticide is toxic to birds. Do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes. Cover or soil-incorporate spills. This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment or residues on blooming crops or residues on blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds if bees are foraging the treatment area.
USE RESTRICTIONS
- Not for indoor residential use.
- Do not use on turf except for golf course, sod farms, and as a mound or spot treatment for control of fire or harvester ants.
- Do not apply with low pressure hand-wand equipment except as an ant mound treatment and on ornamental trees or shrubs when grown for non-commercial or non-agricultural use.
- Chemigation: Do not apply this product through any kind of irrigation equipment.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage, disposal, or cleaning of equipment. Open dumping is prohibited.
Pesticide Storage: Keep pesticide in original container. Do not put concentrate or dilute into food or drink containers. Store in cool, dry place. Protect from excessive heat. Pesticide Disposal: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.
Container Handling: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Triple rinse or pressure rinse container (or equivalent) promptly after emptying. Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remaining contents into application equipment or a mix tank. Fill the container one-fourth full with water and recap. Shake for 10 seconds. Pour rinsate into application equipment or a mix tank.
Drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Repeat this procedure two more times. Pressure rinse as follows: Empty the remaining contents into application equipment or a mix tank. Hold container upside down over application equipment or mix tank or collect rinsate for later use or disposal. Insert pressure rinsing nozzle in the side of the container, and rinse at about 40 PSI for at least 30 seconds. Drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip.
Once triple rinsed, recycle if available. Some agricultural pesticide containers can be taken to a container collection site or picked up for recycling. To find the nearest site, contact your chemical dealer or manufacturer. If recycling is not available, dispose of in a sanitary landfill or by incineration if allowed by State and local ordinances.
